Haha, cheers Zack - Thats one I have never seen before, pretty good timing by the photographer aye?

It might look like hes having a wee little cry .. but hey, as long as he doesn't do it in the press conferences

Hmm, just reading through a few of the threads/posts just now, and it looks like we have a little bit of banter going regarding LH.

Now, all I will say about all that, is that: In march [aust gp] I saw this kid doing an amazing job, really impressive, getting on the podium on his first GP. Listening to him speak [press conference], was a pleasure. He appeared very humbled by the fact .. but then, obviously, time went on and the results kept on coming, and good on him .. Although I have noted a chink in his amour these days .. now, what we all need to think about, is that, LH has had no tech problems, no glitches, no 'gremlins' none of that .. he didn't even have to start his F1 career in a "lower" team!! So his 'attitude' or 'arrogance' should really be expected as he hasnt had to go through the hard-times that most other drivers have to - starting at the back of the field in a 2nd rate car, or testing for 3 years and so on. I feel that this will be his weak-spot. It will be a very interesting race, when, and he will, doesn't qualify in the top 4-10 [it's amazing that the merc hasn't broken yet??!!] ..

My point being, would we still have "lewis mania" if he started his career in a Spyker - even a williams? I think not ..

he has yet to prove he can race through the field to take a win, podium or points, yet he'll complain of the traffic from the front - I just really hope this "future champ" hasn't got too big for his boots to soon, after only 9 GPs

He can still win the title it is mathematically possible
But you never know. I'd love to see a Kimi fight back... then see his engine blow in the last round and him losing the championship by a point.
with no schumi ::oops:;

Just have Kimi & massa to support with neutrality :cheesy:

Ferrari absolutely flying and upgrading their package every race

Luca Baldisserri:
"bla bla... We will have new parts to try because if we want to reach our goals we must leave nothing to chance."

imho .. it will be tight between both ferrari drivers

meanwhile just waiting for outcome of espionage scandal

sorry iceman1 abt tat pic ..just forgot gender case*

I must say, that I was surprised seeing Kimi beeing slower than Massa in most of the early races this year. But after adapting his style of driving to the bridgestone tyres and the ferrari there will be no possibility for Filipe to beat Kimi, except bad luck. Unfortunately he had a lot of this in the past years! Remember Hockenheim, Nürburgring, GB, Magny Cours, Monza 2005...

Quiet suffering to be a fan of Kimi (and Häkkinen in the past, remember his bad luck!!!) :(

All good comments, and I agree ..

Kimi has to be to absolute class at the moment, well, no doubt about it really - If his car dont break again, he will win all the remaining races

OH, and what did I say earlier about hamilton? starting mid-grid and not being able to do anything? interesting ..

I would like to see Kimi more in the wet, so far Alonso has impressed me with his wet driving skills and that is hard for me to say as i do not like his driving style or personality but credit where it is due. However Alonso also makes many mistakes when things are not going his way. He can be consistently quick when at the front, but he too often over steps the limit of the car. Kimi by contrast has a better handle on the cars maximum and is able to keep lap time consistency high which is a strategists dream. Problem is Ferrari does not have Brawn there at the moment to take advantage of it. The race in Hungary was finished at the first pitstop, Ferrari should have fueled up Kimi more then Hamilton as i think Kimi would have closed the gap anyway. They didn't and it was game over.

The remaining races are good for Ferrari, so reliability in check, and Massa performing well as well, we should be in for a tight finish, lets hope for some more argy bargy between the McLaren boys.

Kimi is consistency He can switch from hero to zero in a lap
In Formula 1 anything is possible I am sure he can overcome Lewis who we see is at last getting the positions he deserves. We all saw how in Britain he couldn't manage to finish even 2nd starting from pole and having an excellent car Formula 1 is not just about car but about skilll and experience that's what Lewis has to learn and that's what Kimi has.
