This year the trophy goes to the new BMW 3.0 litre Twin Turbo petrol engine, now fitted in all body variations of the successful BMW 3 Series. The world’s first in-line 6-cylinder engine with Twin Turbo technology also came out top in two other categories, winning the “Best New Engine of the Year 2007” and the 2.5 – 3.0 litre capacity class.

lol... passionate about BMWs?

my dadhas a 98 model M5, amazing car, seriously amazing, we are selling it though as it is getting a bit old!

BMWs are great, theres no surprise they take out the best engine award, their engineering abilities are beyond that of other teams/manufacturers!

are you sure the M3 is limited to 260km/h? all other bmws are limited to 250km/h... not that it makes a difference but still... this M3 is awsome, defnantly another bar raise against Audi's RS4 which is another awsome car... BMW needed something special with their next M since the new M5 and M6 didnt do so well!
