For me it has to be Prost, Senna and Schumacher had questionable tactics when it came to winning world championships, For me Senna and Schumacher have one less World Championship to their name, and Prost and Hill should have another.

I choose Senna, because he was the fastest driver ever and the best against other fantastic drivers, such as Piquet, Prost and Mansell.
Schumacher was great too, but he was beated everytime he had a serious contender and was always number 1 on his team.

Ayrton Senna. He was the nearest one can come to a perfect racing driver.

I agree maybe (I think Senna would have one more title if he had lived and would have earned it) but not the Prost bit :p he whined too much I think he should be happy with the ones he had :@:2 ...

has to be ayrton senna for me i just finnished reading his biography what a truly amazing human being taken short of realising his full potential

i think without ayrton senna shumacher would never have been as successful as he emulated alot of what ayrton did to be successfull and was very good at doing it too mind you

senna revolutionised f1 how the drivers trained how drivers promoted themselfves and their sponsors and had a truly uniquie way of driving that was totally different from the accepted norm yet hey was blindingly fast even in inferior cars and especially in the rain

ONe good thing that Michael had is that he had very few solid opponents. Hill just lasted 1 season, Villeneuve, Alonso and Hakkinen, 2 seasons, and that's it. The others, he had no real threats

I agree. :T:@
Senna, for example, had very tough opponents for many years, like Mansell, Piquet and Prost.

For a long time (till 2005 Imola)i was the absolute anti-schumacher "fan". Then i suddenly realized that only one driver can make these records, and this is the best driver. Ibelieve in counts. Schumacher is the best ever.

Worst thing in f1 is to compare drivers.
Never makes much of sense since factors always vary point to point.
It always end up with personal choice :@:2
