The first grand prix I saw was the 1978 South African Grand Prix at Kyalami. My father got us seats in the grandstand at the end of the main straight. It was a heck of a race. Ronnie Petersen in a Lotus overtook Patrick Depailler in a Tyrrell on the last lap, on the second to last corner to win the race. It was quite something

1993 Brazilian GP. Remember watching Senna at qualifying. Rest is just a blank from that GP.

My first GP experience was at age 18, just out of high school 1980. Purchased my first 35mm SLR Pentax Camera with my graduation cash and I used it to capture the "REAL" Long beach Grand Prix. I shot 10 rolls of film from behind a corner tire barrier, while inhaling exhaust fumes and oil spray.

I absolutely LOVED IT!

Mine was Australia 1996 I was 3 (I think) but my grandma got me hooked on Damon Hill from that day.

First race I caught a glimpse of was Monaco'96. I also recall seeing the majority of the Italian and Portugese Grand Prix's later that year. The first full race I saw though, was the 1996 Japanese Grand Prix!

First race that I remember, Interlagos 1998.

First full length, 1999 Monza. The one Hakkinen spun out and cried.

First race I watched was back in 1999. Austrian GP which was won by Eddie Irvine. It was first full race. I saw glimpses of some races earlier that season.
