Kimi seems very confident and is saying the car is suiting his style
Masa is still learning and has alot more to do to prove to me that he is capable of a sustained effort on the WDC.
I reckon the home support for Alonso will give him an edge. Kimi will start winning from Monaco.
Ferrari aero.
For a start Ferrari should gain .5sec from the vents at the rear. In the last races it was opened up and comprimised the setup. Revised sidepods and front wing on what is basically a revised monocoque should add another couple of tenths. The horns like McLarens new front wing seem to be attempts to clean up the dirty air for overtaking but I'm not an expert. McLaren may be sandbagging however I doubt it. Alonso likes to dominate and while theres a lot of talking coming from McLaren, it all seems to be just gung ho stuff. There is a majority feeling out there that ferrari are significantly ahead but its clear that all the cars have have the speed potential if only they can unlock it. Super Aguri is a classic example.
BMW I reckon will overtake McLaren IMHO because there development is solid and I believe the car has more potential. Having said McLaren have surprised me so far and could do so again. I just cant seem to get a handle on the new regime yet.
Spain should give a clear indication of whats what and if any team scores a 1-2, they will probably win the championship because all the drivers at the top have the talent to do it giving a driver and car advantage.
Ciao Bob
