2007 Brazilian Grand Prix - Title Decider
Welcome to the 2007 Brazilian Formula 1 Grand Prix.
The Brazilian Grand Prix (Portuguese: Grande Prêmio do Brasil) is a Formula One championship race which occurs at the Autódromo José Carlos Pace in Interlagos, Brazil.
A Brazilian Grand Prix was first held at Interlagos in 1972, although it was not part of the Formula One World Championship. The following year, however, the race was first included in the official calendar. In 1978 the Brazilian Grand Prix moved to Jacarepaguá in Rio de Janeiro, briefly returning to Interlagos for the next two seasons before becoming the sole host from 1981 onwards. In 1990 the Grand Prix returned to Interlagos, where it has stayed since. In 2005, for the first time, the Brazilian GP decided the World Championship, won by Fernando Alonso. On October 22, 2006, Felipe Massa won the Brazilian GP
The championship standings are Lewis 107, Fernando 103 and Kimi 100.
One race, three drivers separated by seven points. They’ve all driven blinding races this year, but they’ve all made mistakes as well.
So which one deserves it most - Lewis Hamilton, Fernando Alonso or Kimi Raikkonen?
Lewis Hamilton
Wins: Four - Circuit Gilles Villeneuve, Indianapolis, Hungaroring, Fuji Speedway
Points: 107
Best moment: Faultless win under pressure in pouring rain in Fuji.
Worst moment: Staying out a lap too long in Shanghai and turning a possible win into his first ever DNF.
Fernando Alonso
Wins: Four - Sepang, Monte-Carlo, Nürburgring, Monza
Points: 103
Best moment: Passing Felipe Massa in the dying laps of the European Grand Prix to win.
Worst moment: Several off-track moment in Montreal before being shafted by the appearance of the safety car.
Kimi Raikkonen
Wins: Five: Melbourne, Magny-Cours, Silverstone, Spa-Francorchamps, Shanghai
Points: 100
Best moment: Vital win in tricky conditions in Shanghai to keep his title hopes alive.
Worst moment: Crashing in qualifying at Monte-Carlo.
For Lewis to win the title he needs to either come 1st, or finish 2nd behind Fernando if he wins, or 5th if Kimi wins.
For Fernando to win the title he needs to either come 1st and hope Lewis finishes 4th or lower, (Fernando wins based on wins this season if Lewis comes 3rd with 5 to 4) and needs to finish 2nd if Kimi wins and Lewis comes 5th.
For Kimi to win the title, he needs come 1st and hope Lewis finishes 7th or lower and Fernando finishes 3rd or lower.
Here are the championship standings and points for each position finished for the three drivers.

Staying one lap too long out ...Three(!) laps too long out
Can't say which team will be the fastest. I think it will be comparable with China where McLaren and Ferrari both were very competitive. I think it will be close, because in 2006 Ferrari was strong here and McLaren was nowhere, and in 2005 McLaren was way to strong, and Ferrari was nowhere. Difficult to say $peace , Hamilton has just got to finish, don't do any crazy stuff :T:@

Felipe will be a big help to Kimi. I think with Felipe's help Kimi should do it.
Felipe will find the extra tenths at his home grand prix (barring no reliability issues) and it should be a Ferrari one-two for qualifying. Ferrari just need reliability now. I like Brazil should be a good race!!

Kimi and Alonso will have fresh engine...but i doubt mclaren will do some extra enhancement for alonso
On otherhand kimi's Ferrari will have extra tweaked BHP
Ferrari will be strong here ..may be .007 faster or slower than other Ferrari(mclaren )
Regarding tire i think hamilton will bit struggle on 2 stop strategy in dry condition $peace
No options ...i want kimi to win :@:2
....s### mclaren* will win WDC

Nah, the Ferrari seems to be more gentle towards the tyres..maltafan wrote:supersoft tyres might be a problem for Ferrari, I think.

No predictions...
But I want kimi to win with the pole and fastest lap...
And Massa 2nd...
So we can say Ferrari fought till last moment...
But I want kimi to be 2nd in WDC...

I hope Alonso crash Hamilton on first turn of the race. Massa win at home and Kimi go second to get his first championship (how will celebrate it?).WDC wrote:hahaha... very optimistic, dont you think?McLaren-F1 wrote:McLaren will be 1-2 in Brazil and Hamilton will be champion with 115 points Alonso 2nd 113 Kimi third 106 :T:@

There will be another year to forget to McLaren (like 2006). Hamilton go crying to england, and Alonso get a great smile to breakhis contract with Mc-Laren.
