2007 Formula 1 Italian Grand Prix
Re: 2007 Formula 1 Italian Grand Prix
Ferrari, as very well demonstrated at the Turkish GP (== fast circuit) they do very well from an aerodynamic prospective. Macca were quiet a BIT behind. Dont get me wrong but they seemed back then they have a lot of work to do. By the sound of things they are going the right way but that doesnt mean Ferrari doesnt do the same too!

i think low and high downforce circuits suit better Maccas..For example: Monaco,Hungary(High Downforce),Canada,Usa(Low Downforce) they were great at these circuits so Monza is low downforce circuit i think McLaren will be better than Istanbul Gp there..Monza,Spa,Japan(Low Downforce),Shangai (High Downforce),Brasil (Middle downforce) i think McLaren has an advantage..Ferrari is better than Maccas at the middle downforce circuits..For example:Bahrain,Germany,England,France,Turkey..They were better than Maccas at these circuits.. :T:@

I would like to see the Ferrari's crash into each other at the first corner and retire but i doubt it will happen............FerrariFan[FIN] wrote:Hmm... We can't exactly get any tips from teams performances over test times and you should know it too. There's plenty of ways to spend test day with. McLaren and Ferrari probably tested different things. -whistling- -whistling- So don't celebrate yet. Anything can happen (Oh boy how I hope to see both Mercedes engines blow up in this one Yellow_Colorz_PDT_42 Yellow_Colorz_PDT_42 Yellow_Colorz_PDT_42)Suntrek wrote:Hmmm.....
Looking at the Monza testing times over the 3 days (beating Ferrari good!) and looking at McLaren's new cool aero package for the track.....
I'd say Alonso and McLaren will win this!

Imagine the face on the French guy with the red jumper, if it happens.mclarenmatt wrote:

Seriously, I think it will be a boring race if this happens.

What we need this weekend is the Ferraris to finish first and second and a McLaren Retirement to obtain the Constructors Lead and close the gap in the drivers championship so we can hope that Kimi or Felipe can get the title back to maranello .

I hope Alonso will win this year's Italian Grand Prix because he never taste successful memory here so far in his F1 career. Last year was the worst ever. Hopefully this year will be a turn-around.....
Re: 2007 Formula 1 Italian Grand Prix
I think the Macca's will be slightly faster than the Ferrai's with the BMW a clear 3rd as always. I think the Macca's have a slight advatge in low downforce circuits, but ferrari have been improving and the race in istanbul showed they have good speed and pace, but hamilton was able to match them for most of the race
