Lewis because he beat Kimi with a broken steering wheel.

Hi Guys,

Definitely Lewis Hamilton, even Damon Hill would agree...

Cheers

not a great post for driver of the race... no one particularly notable. but Hamilton and Raikkonen are the most consistent. So i give it to kimi, cause Lewis had the better car

I voted Lewis simply because he was great during the race, and dealt with kimi's pressure easily.

Was on the verge of choosing Heikki cause of the 2 stints he did on super soft tyres and for his improvement from 12th to 8th on the grid

i cant believe how many people voted hamilton! :(

whats wrong with you all... can anyone tell me what he did thi race? keeping in mind overtaing is near impossible, raikkonen finished only 7tenths behind, if it was another circuit then its obvios the results would have been a lot different (not just the first two)

i think kovalainen was the best driver, on a track where massa in a ferrari could only manage 13th after starting heikki went from 11th to score a point, i think thts more deserved than hamilton who jussat infront and did nothing...

kubica did the same, a great race and improved his position well!
Thankyou Schumi you will always have a place in our hearts!
Michael Schumacher- 7 volte Campione del mondo!
SIMPLY THE BEST

Well I don't know what else did you want Hamilton to do. I voted Nick but I think Hami couldn't have done a better job, could he?

I mean if you consider he didn't do anything because he just kept his position, then the only one who did something was Alonso with those two moves, everyone else just kept running, and both Kubica and Kovalainen made up place due to strategy, they just pushed like everyone else.

My point is I don't understand why you consider Hamilton did nothing.

Lewis Hamilton of course !cool!!!! Kimi couldn't do nothing to stop Hami @Beer. Nicolas Heidfeld drove a good race as well, very good to keep Alonso behind him.

Heikki, since he climbed up 4 places up despite the difficulty in overtaking in that track. Hamilton and Heidfeld are the notable ones too. Lewis, because he managed to stay in front with Kimi's pressure on him and Heidfeld, a very nice job of keeping Fernando behind him.

I voted Heidfeld.
Very nice race and qualifying. And he's always between the Mclarens and Ferraris. I believe he will become a very tough contender next year.

!grin! :p Steve Ryder and James Allen would think he was driver of the race even if he smashed into a wall on lap one !grin! I can see it now... 'My driver of the day HAD to be Hamilton for the way he handled getting out of his car and walking back to the pitts' :@:2 ...
