Drivers and Teams Standings

Wikipedia wrote:The first Hungarian Grand Prix (Hungarian: Magyar Nagydíj) was held on June 21, 1936 over a 3.1-mile track laid out in Népliget, a park near the center of Budapest. The Mercedes-Benz, Auto Union, and Ferrari teams all sent three cars and the event drew a very large crowd. However, politics and the ensuing war meant the end of Grand Prix motor racing in the country for fifty years.
Grand Prix History
The Hungaroring held its first Grand Prix in 1986 and has since been ever-present on the Formula One calendar.
The circuit is a modern complex and facilities are good.
But overtaking is difficult and this often turns the races here into a procession from the grid.

Mclaren and Ferrari have always been good round here, although mclaren seem to have a slight edge over ferrari :) but we will have to see how practice/quali goes!

Slight edge over Ferrari?? Eh when? Last time they had that slight edge over Ferrari in USA. After that Ferrari has had that slight edge over McLaren. And ithis is big cuestion mark: Are FIA gonna allow McLaren to race in Hungary (That spy case skandal) If FIA see McLaren as quilty I am sure there's gonna be some kind of punishment, for example raceban... But we will see it tomorrow. Well, Hungaroring is samkind of Monaco so McLaren's car suits fine to there...

The McLaren definitely has superior handling, which gives them the edge at Hungary

jep me too... Big punishment would simply kill this years championship... So far it has been great racing. It would be nice to see wet conditions again in Hungary this year :D

Hmm, re: macca. Think of what happened to Honda in 2005 regarding and small fuel reservoir that was deemed illegal .. 2 race ban!! From what I have read, I feel that this whole spy thing will have macca packing their bags for the rest of the year.

But yes, looking forward to hearing about it tomorrow, will be very interesting ..

Alonso picked up a penalty (the first of its type ever) whereby he was penalised 2 seconds in each session of qualifying
shumi passed two (or maybe even three) cars in practice under a red flag. Two point penalty for him also
