F1 2010 Setup's

Post by haggishunter » 26 Jun 2011, 21:05

Hi there

Just thought i would start a thread to help out the people who don't know much about setting up the F1 cars. Namely me lol. We should do it is by posting the track name, time achieved and the adjustments done. Here is my example.

Monaco - 1:15.456

Aerodynamics
Front Wing Angle: 8
Rear Wing Angle: 8

Braking
Balance: F 50% - R 50%
Pressure: High
Brake Size: Small

Balance
Ballast Distribution: F 60% - R 40%
Front Anti-roll Bar: 4
Rear Anti-roll Bar: 7

Suspension
Front Ride Height: 2
Rear Ride Height: 2
Front Spring Stiffness: 6
Rear Spring Stiffness: 7

Gearbox
Gear 1: 112 kph
Gear 2: 138 kph
Gear 3: 163 kph
Gear 4: 189 kph
Gear 5: 216 kph
Gear 6: 244 kph
Gear 7: 274 kph

Engine
Throttle map: Fast

Alignment
Camber front: -1.50
Camber rear: -3.50
Toe front: 0.15
Toe rear: 0.50

I would love to know what setups the better drivers are using to see if it helps any. I know it takes good driving also. That part i can deal with, but if the setup is flawed then there isn't much that will help.

So feel free to post all your setups and see what the feedback brings. You never know, you might help someone knock a good few seconds off a time they thought was a done deal. Peace!

1:13! I have been trying all kinds of setting to get a 1:15 and you get a 1:13 changing nothing! Great driving Eric.

What system do you play on? I'm xbox.

I'm convinced there's some sort of lack of parity between the Xbox & PS3 times. Because lots of people on PS3 can do 1.13s, yet If I push like hell on Monaco, I think my best has been a 1.14.9. I've seen this regularly too.

I set the 1:13:6 on the xbox. But I had about 500 tries I guess to set this time. :O I think there is still about half a second that I can gain but it's very difficult of course to do one lap without a mistake.

Monaco is my fav circuit and I have been trying to improve my time but can't seem to get any better. I thought I was doing well when I got a 1:16 then I got a 1:15. I have been trying to better that time for ever since but nothing I do makes any difference. Any tips would be appreciated.
