F1 2009 for PSP Hotlap Competition (2010)

Post by phil1993 » 14 Dec 2009, 18:53

For this we will use F1 2009 for PSP

Users have one week to set their fastest lap from the F1 2009 for PSP game and post it here. Use whatever aids you like as if you cut a corner, the game will automatically disallow the time. We'll go by the 2010 calendar so Bahrain will kick off and Abu Dhabi will finish in November

Points awarded by FIA standard (25-20-15)

2010 Calendar:

Code: Select all

2010 Formula 1 calendar:
14 March Bahrain
28 March Australia
4 April Malaysia
18 April China
9 May Spain
16 May Monaco
30 May Turkey
13 June Canada
27 June Europe (Valencia)
11 July Great Britain
25 July Germany
1 August Hungary
29 August Belgium
12 September Italy
26 September Singapore
10 October Japan
24 October Korea
7 November Brazil
14 November Abu Dhabi
Competition for each track will end on the MONDAY after the race at 6PM GMT

eg. Bahrain - submit times before 6pm 15 March, Hungary submit times before 6pm 2 August. If you are on holiday, you can submit times for that round before you go and they will still count, as long as they are submitted BEFORE the closing time:

Closing dates (all times 6pm GMT on the day)
15 March Bahrain
29 March Australia
5 April Malaysia
19 April China
8 May Spain
15 May Monaco
31 May Turkey
[s]13 June Canada[/s] Summer break
26 June Europe (Valencia)
12 July Great Britain
26 July Germany - We will use Nurburgring rather than Hockenheim, as this appears on the game
2 August Hungary
30 August Belgium
13 September Italy
27 September Singapore
11 October Japan
[s]24 October Korea[/s] - Autumn break
8 November Brazil
15 November Abu Dhabi

Will there be a F1 2010 ''Hotlap Competition'' for people with PS3's And Xbox 360's?

I imagine there would be a lot more interest in that

I was thinking about that as well. F1 2010 is rumoured to be released somewhere in March/April. And at that time, only 3 or 4 races in the championship are over. So it wouldn't be so difficult to start the season with just 3 weeks delay. During the summer break we can easily drop by

Yeah, I've already got my copy on Pre-Order! :D

I'll probably pick this up though, meaning me having to buy a new PSP unless I can get the old one working. I'll wait until my birthday in January.

I'm c**p at setting up the cars though, so expect me to be like Badoer! :D

26th March it's due for release in the UK, may change however though, at that point 2 races are over. The next race is Sepang on the 4th, or simply we could start on the 10 April and change the calender so we have Melbourne, Bahrain and Sepang ending the season.

It's a good idea anyway.

You don't need to set up cars in F1 2009. You can but you don't have to do it :p

This could be a good calendar for our competition :

Closing dates (all times 6pm GMT on the day)
19 April China (If F1 2010 is not released yet, this round will be changed to 23 August)
8 May Spain
15 May Monaco
31 May Turkey
13 June Bahrain (instead of Canada)
26 June Europe (Valencia)
12 July Great Britain
26 July Germany - We will use Nurburgring rather than Hockenheim, as this appears on the game
2 August Hungary
9 August Melbourne
16 August Sepang
23 August China
30 August Belgium
13 September Italy
27 September Singapore
11 October Japan
24 October Korea
8 November Brazil
15 November Abu Dhabi

What do you think, Phil ?

I don't ... But I think Phil did. I have no other explanation why he was so fast in Melbourne and Sepang then :p
