Hello, From an Australian living in Japan

Hi everyone,
Im new to these forums, but have been following F1 closely for some years now.
Im an engineeing student from Australia, so I love the technical side of F1 as well as the racing, and im living in Japan at the moment, trying to get a foot into the the door of a company like toyota or honda.
We'll see how i do..
Im interested to see if anyone else has similar aspirations or advice for someone like me?
