Right, Now I'm gonna be serious here and I want the Moderators and Iceman to listen.

Is there any specific reason as to why you want to limit the number of smileys per post? If so, please explain with good reason, but if not, I don't see any problem with stopping a little bit of harmless fun. Sometimes even 8 is too little, but I had few problems with that until it went down to 2 (and has since been upped to 5).

I don't like smiley limits either. 8 was fair, 2 was ridiculous,4 was a little over the top and 5 is barely fair. Agree 119% with what Phil said above.

It's really annoying. 4-5 smileys MAX per post is OK.

How about a smiley credit. For example- for every 50 posts you can use 150 smileys. That's only 3 smileys per post, but it stil allows you to have smiley fun .

2 is way to little, I agree completely with Phil; sometimes is 8 even too little, and when there's a case of unnecessary smiley abuse, give the member a warning or edit the post..

I like cformula1 smiley credit idea (to add 1 smiley credit per 300 words)

Anyways, 8 at moment will be good enough and will give members time to adjust. After some time we can reduce it to 6
