Warning

Post by phil1993 » 10 Apr 2009, 15:58

Bernie's gang are currently out on the hunt for F1 websites:

Darcy's video site was found and has been deleted, although the forum is still there.

So just be extra careful at the moment, maybe reversing the video files to ensure maximum security

I've had filenames reversed in all of my uploads ages ago as it was a common practice here at one time. Many new race uploads don't seem to have that applied, maybe we should start doing it again.

This issue of Bernie's mob removing videos is starting to get media attention-It was mentioned in this month's issue of F1 Racing and bloggers/columnists are starting to make this an issue. Hopefully the mob will do something about this...

Bernie and his gang should be ashamed if they do stop F1 video sites, how else am i and others supposed to relive the classic races and drivers of the past..be different if I had the option to buy the full season sets but as far as i know aside from the yearly reviews they are not available. It does make the blood boil when people\companies are against online distribution for fun and interest when they dont provide an alternative..I would even subscribe to an official TV channel if the powers that be bothered to air one.anyway ive said my bit lol (Ps..i am talking about pre 2009 races not this seasons though)

i think bernie only owns copyright to the videos after when F~0~M was established which was in early 90s. He does nto have any rights on videos before that..
