My main hope is that people give the regulations time, don't judge after one or two races and allow drivers a few errors.

Also, it's going to be very difficult for some drivers - in 2012 it was possible for Alonso hustle the F2012 around corners quickly and adapt his style, but no amount of skill can make up for a speed deficit that we may see in 2014.

One thing to look out for will be tactics in Q2.

The top 10 must start the race on the tyres on which they set their Q2 lap. Now, we know from past experience that getting through to Q3 on primes is difficult but if their pace advantage is to be believed, Mercedes might gamble and set their Q2 best on prime, take pole on options and then start the race on primes.

Anyway, who knows what the strategy options may be!

Qualifying will be VERY interesting. I really hope Marrussia or Caterham have finally been able to make a challenger for at least Q2. And who will be eliminated from the first two sessions? Wonder if the Red Bulls or Lotuses will be able to make Q3.

SO PUMPED for this race!

It's only a one-off for this race apparently.
