Still can't believe how Crofty can sound so enthustiastic, he could just have gone with:
"Here comes the podium finishers, the result is exactly like last year".

I hope in the future F1 can be a spec serie with just different engines.
There's no doubt that Vettel is good, but he is still on pair with many out there imo.
I wonder how Liuzzi or Heidfeld would have handled the RB8.

Hopefully we'll have a proper race for the win in Catalunya.

I want Bridgestone and refueling back. :(

I'm enjoying the races, but I just like the whole format of the racing and qualifying over the course of a weekend when we had refueling and Bridgestone tyres.

AMAZING drive from Grosjean. If whatever problems he had in the first three races have been solved, then he and Lotus can look forward to a very promising european season.

We also saw some fantastic racing throughout, which is surprising for this track but should plead in the favour of the current Pirelli/DRS combination.

Alonso's race was ruined when they tried to use DRS the second time... That was plain dumb. Could have been on the podium otherwise, imo.
Good race, I enjoyed it. Great performance by DiResta, Perez, RoGro and Vettel. There was quite a few forcing off the track incidents, and surprisingly - and this might be actually a good thing - no one got a penalty for it.

Vergne was the only driver to retire.

It's great to have so many teams competitive.

Vettel fell into the advantage of clean air at the front, like Raikkonen and Alonso in Australia/China.

How was Alonso to know that the DRS would break again? Hindsight is a wonderful thing...

Well, no. never in a million years because DRS of other cars. Wasn't stupid trying it again, might've just been a intermitten problem.

It's not hindsight, but thinking. Do you honestly think that DRS would fix itself after being forced down by several people?
If they wanted to test it so badly, they should have done before the next pit stop. That way Alonso wouldn't have lost the other 21 seconds.

I agree with you on that one, but still, it would have been a case of damage limitation anyway.

Of course. But lately it seems that Ferrari tend to worsen the damage instead of limiting it.
Still, Alonso did an amazing job - once again. Gotta give credit to him.
