Re: Malaysian GP - Tipping Results
It was always for qualifying, that's the another reason deadline is set 1hour before qualifying. We have changed it bit.rudin wrote:It's a bit strange. It was always about the race, not qualifying. Through all previous years. And I'm not able to find any information on the forum that this rule was changed before 2012 League started.

Re: Malaysian GP - Tipping Results
Ok, thanks for clarifying it.
Question: in the event of a grid penalty, do we consider the top 2 times set in Q3 or the actual starting grid?

Re: Malaysian GP - Tipping Results
Please, staff... not that it's a matter of life or death, but the next Grand Prix is getting closer and closer and neither falstar and rudin's remarks nor my question have received any response.
Of course, it was somewhat academic... until Lewis Hamilton, a likely front row contender, received a five-place grid penalty ahead of the Chinese Grand Prix.François wrote:Question: in the event of a grid penalty, do we consider the top 2 times set in Q3 or the actual starting grid?
Re: Malaysian GP - Tipping Results
I'm seeking clarification, but I believe that you are not awarded pole position until you start from 1st place. I use FORIX for clarification and they don't recognise Raikkonen's 2005 Monza effort as pole position; he qualified 1st but started 11th following a penalty - the pole went to Montoya.
