Q: (Khodr Rawi - F1 Arab) Kimi, how special is it to be the first driver to win for Lotus since Ayrton Senna in 1987

KR: It's a long time for them, I guess. I don't think there are any (of the same) people in the team any more. It's a name. It's the same team and it has been since Fernando was there, just a different name. It's a great name for us, good past but you know I race for the team whatever the name is, I don't really care so it's just for the guys who do all the work. Maybe it looks good in somebody's eyes but for me it really makes no difference.

Vettel is the second driver in F1 history to finish third after starting a race from 24th. Emerson Fittipaldi was the first one who did it - Long Beach 1980

I wonder if this set-up will make Red Bull re-think their usual strategy of having a very low top speed?

Today means we're up to 8 winners. Same as 2003 IIRC. Not that it means anything but Raikkonen and Alonso are the only ones to have been 1 of the 8 in 2003 and 2012. :p

Also Kimi is the 4th NASCAR driver to go on to win an F1 race. Has anyone ever competed in the WRC then gone onto win an F1 race?

Haha you old player you! She does have nice eyes yes. :p

What a great exciting race today. Loved it, Kimi winning, his radio messages, PC, the last laps were really close. Too bad Lewis had to DNF for Kimi to win but Lewis didn't have a chance in the WC anymore anyway.

My house mate hates Vettel. She's just watched the race, she obviously knew he was starting last and had heard he'd lost his front wing but didn't know the final result... She was disappointed. Just been speaking to her, she's furious Vettel got a podium.
