Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix 2012
Re: Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix 2012
It was like they were trying to out-swear each other. Alonso should have dropped a c-bomb.
Then we could be rid of podium interviews.

No they are not- an 86 point lead was needed- the lead is only 82 pointssportingcp wrote:Superb race I was disappointed with the last ones but this one was very good! Kimi, Sebastian and Fernando 10/10 race perfect drives, top drivers.
Are Red Bull already WCC champions, or they will have to wait for Austin just out of curiosity?

Just have to say this about this 2 young guys: Perez and Grosjean very fast but still have a lot to learn. It is possible to have a great fight for positions without screwing everything (just look at Alonso, Button or Raikkonen for example). Romain is more than 100 points behind Raikkonen right now and Perez was almost passed by Kobayashi. I like the Mexican but honestly I think Hulkenberg is more prepared and is even better and deserved more a top seat.

Perez has been involved in multiple incidents, at least one per race, since being confirmed at McLaren. I wonder if it's gone to his head a bit.

First win for a car named "Lotus" since 1987, the great Ayrton Senna was the last man to win for them until today although today's car isn't actually a Lotus.

Amazing race. Put a huge smile on my face. Especially as it was Abu Dhabi and I wasn't exactly expecting a stunner.
Once again, Vettel reminds me of the Schumacher of old. Sheer brilliance and outrageous luck at times. Räikkönen is the hero of the day though, he definitely didn't have the best package for the race and wasn't helped by the second SC period. He managed a fantastic restart and kept it together when Alonso had a lot more pace at the end. Overdue victory and a well-needed encouragement for Lotus, hopefully it's a sign of things to come for next season.
Poor Grosjean. Two collisions but I don't think you can lay the blame on him this time. Just more unwelcome negative attention. :/

How nice of Lewis... Even though he was undoubtedly the unluckiest guy on the grid...Lewis Hamilton says Sebastian Vettel must be the luckiest driver in Formula 1 after his drive from the pit lane to third. #skyf1
Superb drive from Kimi (a well deserved win), Alonso and Vettel.
"Right now I'm having amnesia and déjà vu at the same time. I think I've forgotten this before."
Re: Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix 2012
Lewis' bitterness towards Vettel is becoming a bit ridiculous. I understand he's frustrated, but seriously. Stay classy Lewis.

A tense race indeed...such relief when Kimi crossed the chequered flag first. YAAAYYYYYYY!!!
Winning to Kimi is just a normal part of life by his non-reaction. I think his response to DC was result of slurs occasionally heaped on Kimi by DC as commentator. You tell them exactly how you feel Kimi!!!
Iceman1, if what you say is true, I support you to attend every possible race!!!
Fantastic, fantastic drive, Kimi!

Now Button is saying the same, 'Vettel was lucky with safety cars.'
Yeah, so were you in Canada 2011 then.
