Completely unnecessary, I hope the idea will be dropped.

That's ridiculous. We already have red/yellow T-bars to help people distinguish drivers, plus there's only two drivers per team. Helmet designs separates them usually. Check your race programme for who has what helmet and what colour T-bars. That's a silly, silly idea.

It might be useful for pre-season testing. But other than that it's useless.

The detection point for the DRS zone is 230m before T5, with the activation point located 35m after the apex of the corner.

As if you'll actually be able to see it as the car swoops by at 300kph.

Why dont they have that little fin as the drivers national flag instead then? I mean, that would be much easier because you know what nationality is driving the car so you know the driver.

Believe me I know some people that regularly watch F1 and can't distinguish drivers. The worst part is that one of them is the slovenian race comentator (I usually watched the italian broadcast, but since I moved I had to choose between the slovenian tv or RTL. Too bad I don't understand german :( ), I am pissed after every race because listening to him is a pain in the ass :<>:
I personally don't have any problems distinguishing, but I wouldn't mind if they do that shark fin thing. Maybe some people really need more evidence on a car, especially if they are not hardcore F1 fans.

It would; you know schumachers crashed, hamiltons crashed or winning while buttons either winning or outside the points;)

Why not incorporate abit of helmet design? Buttons flag would have JB, schuey could have dragons.

I expect at some point this weekend, someone will hit the wall. But I don't remember anyone crashing at Monza. When was the last race we had without anyone crashing? Bahrain..?

Yes, the prices are premium but the common people are suffering..
That's reflective of city living, I guess.

Barcelona wasnt it? Maldanado was heading the pack, obviously. Thats why we had to rely on Grosjean, oh wait, Senna had a smash from koba didnt he?

Errrrm. Basically, the race where Grosjean AND maldando finished. Hungary!?
