Re: Grand Prix de Monaco 2012
Good job for Williams Spain and Monaco aren't back-to-back this year like they were before. Would have been difficult for them after the fire.

oo the post I was replying to has disappeared.
Re: Grand Prix de Monaco 2012
So, the most important tool for predicting Monaco's winner is thermometer. If track temperature is around 40C it should suit well to Lotus. Mercedes might be strong below 30C or something. Looks like cars could go faster but tyres do not allow it.
Re: Grand Prix de Monaco 2012
Also, remember that it's the Indy 500 that evening as well.

Perez!
(Yes, I know, I should say Alonso, but trying to stick with the reality that the F2012 still isn't on pace.)

Re: Grand Prix de Monaco 2012
I go for Kimi - again. One day I must be right.
Re: Grand Prix de Monaco 2012
Was never really a fan of him, but after his performance in 2010 at this very track, I have to think about Mr. Kubica. How is the guy doing? At this point I doubt he will be able come back to F1, unfortunately.

Re: Grand Prix de Monaco 2012
Ill go for Alonso like always. Except, he is brilliant around this track, won in 06 with Rena, 07 with Mclaren; Shouldve won 2010 if he didnt crash like a prat. 2011 I think he wouldve gone for glory. So 3rd win in a 3rd team!
Re: Grand Prix de Monaco 2012
Tight and twitchy Sector 3 of Barcelona circuit should give us a picture as to who might be fast in Monaco. In the race, Lotus' were fastest through there with Grosjean first and Raikkonen second. Interesting to note that Button and Hamilton were way down the order with some 0,8s sllower than Lotus' drivers, atlhough in qualifying Hamilton was second quickest there with Maldona second. I am not sure how we should read into that.

Re: Grand Prix de Monaco 2012
The end to last year's race was such a shame. Am sure he would have gone for it, tried a risky move just because of what had gone in the previous races. And you had Button behind on even fresher tyres. Damn that crash, and Petrov not getting out of his car.mikhailv wrote:Ill go for Alonso like always.
