Re: Qantas Australian Grand Prix
Hello everybody!
I hope this grand prix will show some interesting changes on the grid! Remember last year where we were all happy with Mercedes and Williams performances in testing only to see I believe the same Top 8 grid in 2011 than in 2010?
Hope the RedBull would not be much quicker than the rest of the field! Hope that McLaren, Mercedes and Ferrari ( and even Lotus ) can have a shot for the win or at least for the podium! I'm keen to see how Marussia and HRT will perform as to me they don't look to have a very bad car. It will be difficult for them of course as they didn't test but for me their cars looks much better than last years one!
I'm just too impatient to see the first GP! The wait is nearly over!!

Re: Qantas Australian Grand Prix
Haven't checked it but I saw a stat posted elsewhere that.....
10 of the last 12 winners of the first GP have gone on to with the drivers title that year.

Re: Qantas Australian Grand Prix
I think one of the lotus can go for podium in this GP, and that might be Kimi...
Hope for not a boring race, that's all

Re: Qantas Australian Grand Prix
Colour of kerbs has been changed.
Re: Qantas Australian Grand Prix
The kerb colours represent the 'national colours' of Australia (green and gold). Nonetheless they look hideous.
Can't wait for the race, will actually be attending this Grand Prix for the first time (Sunday only)

Re: Qantas Australian Grand Prix
I like them, they're different. It's nice not to just have red/white kerbs all the time.
Re: Qantas Australian Grand Prix
yes i like the kerbs as well. i think valencia and monza also have kerbs that represent their flag colours.

Re: Qantas Australian Grand Prix
Just see the press conference schedule, was hoping there'd be one with all six world champions.
Re: Qantas Australian Grand Prix
I expect they'll do that at a round where there's no home drivers. They will always have the home nation represented in a press conference.donald29 wrote:Just see the press conference schedule, was hoping there'd be one with all six world champions.
