I'm always surprised by the number of people/idiots trying to go towards the incident just to FILM it.

What happened? There surely is a fire brigade stationed at the track, are they on it?

Jamesallenonf1 #F1 Smoke is much less dense now, looks like the F1 pit fire in under control, Hope no-one was hurt

H_Kovalainen Wow huge explosion in paddock at Williams garage! Hope no serious injuries... http://t.co/SCMGN597

willbuxton Nothing confirmed but reports fire at Williams caused by KERS. Details very very sketchy right now.

Marussia team in their garage. For those without Sky, I'll keep you updated.

First suggestion is possibly something to do with KERS but they don't know yet. All of the teams have plenty of fire extinguishers and they had it out before the fire brigade arrived.

Smoke inhalation is why FI mechanic has gone to hospital. Simon Lazenby says a Sky camer-man was apparently helping a man whose legs were on fire.

Thank God it didn't happen in the race, or in Monaco.

this is media... a lots of journalists are risking their lifes in order to not loose their jobs. from the outside it looks like a nice profession but sometimes is much more dangerous than to fight on the front line in a war

Sky just showed the moment is started. Massive fireball, started so quickly. Other teams quickly ran to help.

Plenty of people being pushed out who clearly were not press photographers. Just people with pit passes.
