Long may it continue.

Notes from India

Considering my week should be slightly less busy, I intend to write a piece on Massa's season, especially in light of today.

I wonder what is the current F1 record in "number of collisions between the same two drivers during a season". Felipe and Lewis must already be high on that list

On the collision itself: when Button passed Schumacher at Monza I think he said that because he wasn't sure if he was clear of the other car he left some room in the inside just in case. Might have been a smart thing to do for Felipe as well :zz:

india is a fantastic place for formula 1, fans are passionate (hope it is not just because it's the first year) and they have a good team and also there are some indian drivers in the sport and the Grand Prix event can help growing the sport in the country too, it is much better than korea, to be honest i really don't understand the whole concept of having a Grand Prix in korea, unlike japan it doesn't have major companies in auto industry, there are no korean driver or team in the sport, it is not like bahrain or abu dhabi either, every one knows middle east by blood and oil but these two events are giving the region to be known to world by being peaceful and safe, and also we have 3 races in far east (Japan, china and singapore) so no one can say we go there because it is the first country in far east to host formula 1, can anyone give me a reason why there should be race in korea?
A craven can be as brave as any man, when there is nothing to fear. And we all do our duty, when there is no cost to it. How easy it seems then, to walk the path of honor.

Williams say Maldonado will use his ninth engine in Abu Dhabi. That means he'll get a ten-place grid penalty.

someone complain about old circuits, thats seems not for current f1, cause it's difficult to overtake on them,

But new ones, are as difficult, and have no any passion like Monza, Spa, Monaco, or other. So we see same boring race, but on a dull circuit instead a historic and passional circuit

No, except that they paid a lot of money for it. And that's all Bernie cares about.

Korea is doomed. Unless massive investment steps in that is. The circuit is in one of the poorer regions, its bland and largely unpopular with teams/media. They've done nothing since last season, there were less fans than in 2010, they're paying a massive fee to Bernie and they have a new government that isn't as interested in F1 as the last one

I like the circuit layout very much, but the race was a bit boring in my opinion.

(I like the guy, but seeing Vettel win all the time is getting a bit repetitive)
