I think we're going to see the only non red bull pole this year in Monza.

Mclaren and Ferrari will fight for the win, Mercedes and Red Bull will fight for 5th to 8th place.

Let's hope things will look different than in other races, that should be the case. Plus we have two DRS zones, yay!!!

I don't believe that; Vettel and Webber were 4th and 6th last season: they will be fighting for the win at Monza.

I think it will be closely contested between RBR and McLaren, as Spa should've been (but McLaren blew it for themselves with Button's Q2 exit and Hamilton's accident). There's no reason to believe that Ferrari will fare better than previously on the harder compound, and they'll only have a chance if some unexpected weather means they don't have to run that tyre, as happened in Silverstone.

Also, I'll eat my hat if the whole field gets through the first chicane cleanly. I might consider something more extreme if they get through the first TWO chicanes. :p

Neither Button nor Hamilton have won at Monza - Hamilton has crashed out for the last two seasons, Button finished second for the last two seasons.

Alonso will be up there as he always is.

With how lewis has been this season It wouldnt surprise me to see him making a desperate move like last year. It also wouldnt surprise me if redbull walk away with it. Mclaren and Ferrari were much closer last year than this year in terms of overall pace, and with the ferrari losing huge performance on harder tyre compounds, Mclaren struggling similarly to match redbull, I think they will just walk with it in honesty.

bit anti climatic seeing as its the last free to air season and its over with before the end of the summer.

The only track in which we will see Alonso and lewis be extremly strong, will be Singapore. Its a drivers track more than pure car, and those two are the best drivers on the grid and around that track. So thats the only race to watch for a proper fight, unless redbull crash out of every other race on the calendar!

I think Lewis will be very keen not to crash out of this one. I reckon he'll see the chequered flag, bar any reliability woes or incidents triggered by others.

Don't write off the Mercedes GP in the straight line is very strong and in both compounds have the pace and the performance!
Schumi & Rosberg will be in front of the field!

No they won't be. They have straight line speed but they will still chew the tyres & sometimes (as odd as this sounds), speed at Spa doesn't translate into speed at Monza!

Besides, Mercedes's "speed at Spa" only meant they finished 5th and 6th, which would have been 7th and 8th had Hamilton and Massa not hit trouble. At the front of the midfield is the best they can hope.
