Here I may want to put a disclaimer by pointing that Felipe Massa was untouchable in Singapore 2008. I think in qualifying he was 0.7s faster than the second and he had said he hadn't fuelled light.

I don't rate Massa as one of the best drivers so it's a little bit overstatement for Singapore to say that it's a best drivers' track.

The medium tyre is not good for Ferrari, right?

I think Alonso will win in Monza and in Singapore, he's good around both. For Spa, it could go either way. Lewis, Jenson maybe, but it could rain. Alonso has never been too strong at Spa, which is strange

I think Ferrari need very soft tyres, easy to degrade in other cars. Ferrai is less aggressive with tyres that another.

The good side of this, is ferrari can use same tyres for more laps, or pits less than anothers. If it's rainy day, ferrari loose this advantage, because teams change tyres when wet or dry is faster, not when tyre is degradade. So Ferrari preffer warm days and soft tyres.

The bad side of this, is ferrai first lap of any tyre (included race start) are very bad, because they had a lot of problem to get tyres warm. So it's very easy to overtake a ferrari on first lap, or when they go out pits.

McLaren it's the other side. They are very fast to warm tyres, but very fast to degradade. So they must change tyres before others. They preffer days with rain and sun, so drivers must change tyres because they are not with ideal tyres for track conditions (they have wet tyres, and now track is dry, or they have dry tyres, and begin to rain). Mclaren can run short sting faster. Ferrari can run long sting

Still waiting for Eric bulls** to give a public apology to Nick heidfeld after accusing him of blowing the car up.

http://en.espnf1.com/renault/motorsport ... 56150.html

'Renault has revealed that a cracked exhaust was to blame for Nick Heidfeld's fire at the Hungarian Grand Prix, and that the subsequent explosion was caused by an air bottle.

Heidfeld's Renault rolled to a halt in flames on lap 23 after he left the pits following a scheduled stop. He leapt from the wreck unharmed but due to fire damage and an explosion in the left sidepod, the team has revealed that the chassis has had to be written off'

Just reinforces my extreme disgust for that man and the rest of the lotus/proton/lada/tata/renault team. They will never be successful again, no wonder renault is adding other teams and bulls** is worried about losing Renaults main focus on the team. Hopefuly they will fully back RB and Williams and Team Lotus.
