what a race, brilliant with all the incidents and changing conditions! it's been a while since I last watched a race, and boy was this worth in the early hours of the morning!

There were lots of indications of unhappiness in the McLaren camp yesterday. Another interesting moment was when Whitmarsh was being interview by Jake & Eddie (when the race was red flagged?), and at the suggestion that Lewis could leave for another team, I thought Martin definitely seemed to have been riled. It could just be my fevered imagination but I do sense there are some divisions in the team.

Woah, quite the epic one. A shame there had to be so many SC interruptions, but it's also what made this memorable finish possible.

You gotta feel sorry for Schumacher: he didn't put a wheel wrong all race and a podium would've been a fitting reward for his best drive since his much-criticized return to F1. As for those disappointed about Kobayashi falling down the order: I am as well, but I can't help but feel the guy and his team brought it on themselves: he was seen making several mistakes (including the one that allowed Schumacher through) and made the switch to dry tyres far too late. I reckon he could've managed an equal-career-best 5th, possibly better otherwise.

Button's drive will have to be remembered as one of the most epic ones Formula 1 has seen for a long time. Who's going to claim he can't overtake now? And once again, he's made the most of the treacherous track condition, getting all the tyre calls right and finding the most confidence of anybody on the dry line. The guy is now 2nd in the standings, let's see if he can mount a championship challenge from there.

Vettel wasn't too shabby either. I reckon he would've earned tremendous praise for keeping his head throughout the afternoon had he not made that ill-timed error. In hindsight, he was a bit too conservative at certain key points and thus found himself in a position to be pushed into making a mistake. That's still 5 wins and 2 second places from 7 starts, though. And Webber has once again proved consistent, albeit no match for his teammate.

As for Massa, it was very unsporting to blame Karthikeyan for yet another of his own mistakes. Clearly not cautious enough going on the wet part of the track and put his own dumb self out of the fight for victory. Another wasted opportunity on a rare day where he seemed to have an edge over his teammate.

Some great amateur footage of the race :

Finally the start, Hamilton punts Webber

After Hamilton and Button Collide, Ferrari, Mercedes and Lotus Renault teammates work their way forward

Post Rain Delay and SC laps, Kobayashi holds off a hard charging Massa

After Alonso’s spin, Button Marches Forward, still last in the lead pack

After Heidfeld’s nose disaster, Button up to fourth and Kobayashi’s drop continues

Unlucky Lewis, he probably should have waited with overtaking Webber, as it looked like he was a lot faster. Unlucky race incident and the same with Button, he didn't see Lewis who could've backed off. Just race incidents. And Lauda should shut the F up with his horrible comments on Lewis, that he is gonna kill people. Lauda is an old pain in the a....

well, I don't think that you can blame him for the Button accident but it was surely his fault by kicking Webber out as Webber let him enough space on the inside and Lewis just turned into him. He shouldn't be that aggressive right after the restart!

No, he shouldn't correct, maybe a bit less agressive was the right decission, but it was kinda wet remember so Lewis slid wide. Race incident. Nobody's fault. Only 'should'ves' and 'could'ves'

After 4 years, Lewis should know not to go 100% aggressive from the start. He made silly mistakes and lost the chance of a win. He needs to sort out his private life, get a great relationship with the team - how good is it, because Whitmarsh has seemed to prefer Button since the start of 2010 - and get a mentor like Hakkinen. He has a manager, but its Simon Fuller. He's not going to help Hamilton win titles.
