Well it looks that way. Sad if we lose it.

On a different note. Ferrari have started maintenance on their Wind Tunnel in Maranello and will be using the Toyota wind tunnel on Cologne. IT is the same wind tunnel that McLaren used in season last year.

Updates to Turkish GP include the front wing they tested in China and changes to rear suspension.

Well I won't be shedding a tear. The track itself sure was nice, but racing before empty grandstands is not my idea of a successful event. We've got too many races in countries with absolutely no motorsport tradition whatsoever, with disappointing attendance becoming the norm. And then nonsense like the lack of a French GP and other classic European venues under permanent threat.

As for the race, RBR should run away with it as long as they get on top of their KERS issues.

Pirelli will have coloured sidewalls from this race

As for the race, it will be close. In Malaysia, Button was close to Vettel. Turn 8 was the one that crippled McLaren in 2010, but they have improved in this area. They could stay flat through T6-7 in Malaysia, like Red Bull.

yeah, it has some unique set of corners, and the lateral stresses will increase tyre wear IMo, so it will be missed if it is removed

The coloured sidewalls look hideous. They should have a coloured band around the sidewall, but not to the point where it covers the entire sidewall.

Guess we'll have to wait and see what they look like. They might be more like the indy car ones where about 1/4 of the sidewall is coloured.

And if you look closely in that video, you can see the endangered specie: the Turkish spectator.

I don't know Zack. A friend of mine is trying to set up some interviews with pilots and if that happens, I'll be able to go to the paddock and do interviews. Otherwise, I'll only go to the race on Sunday.
