Alonso also recieved a 20 second penalty for causing a collision, but does not lose a place as a result.

So Hamilton penalised for defending his position more than once. Lets see what Vettel does at the start...

Hmm..I thought it was a racing incident, Hamilton's is a little clearer however still undeserved, he only moved a small amount.

But why giving Alonso a 20 secs penalty? it's useless :

Could it be that one of them went to the stewards and the stewards decided to penalize him too for being a telltale? (just guessing)

The one is a racing incident, ok Alonso had a brainfade, but I think that's a racing incident. And the other one... well, not even Lobato seemed to see something (that's the guy talking in the video); and Lobato doesn't let it be if he can have a go (a laud go) at Hamilton. So even for the Alonsists, it was an ok move.

Over in the stewards room:

'Lets give Hamilton a penalty this time.'

'No we can't do that, british press and forums will go berserk!'

'No problem, we give Alonso a penalty too to make it even.'

Seeing that Hamilton got a reprimand for the same thing last year, maybe that converted a reprimand for him to a penalty.

I read somewhere that Alonso went to the stewards room directly after the race.

I've only just found this out and that's ridiculous. Neither of them deserve penalties.

And apparently they're fine with it:

????
No, I'm not calmer. Just more jaded.

I don't think the weaving rule applies on the run to the first corner at the start.
