What

I'm watching, but I fear it might get boring. Don't care much for oval racing except when it's Indianapolis.

Pocono almost seems like a road course. All three turns are different.

Sato just kamikaze'd Hunter-Reay in the pits.

I was a month old when Indycar had last raced at Pocono. Although I don't think the race was thrilling, it was interesting throughout to see how the strategies would unfold. Also to have the top 10 cars so close together throughout the race was great.

I can't wait for the second double header weekend now.

This should be exciting though I am worried that the excitement could be anticlimactic. If race control needs to abort the start, then the cars will proceed to do another formation lap followed by a rolling start. I'd say the chances that one of the drivers stalling are high considering this is the first standing start for the DW-12, and that would necessitate the standing start to be aborted.

Ryan Hunter-Reay wrote:"I'd like to thank the crew for giving me a great car, and I'd like to thank Sato for knocking us out again today," he said.
Tooooooooold. :)

Apparently Dario has narrowly beaten Bourdais (!) to claim pole. These two in a class of their own.

Anyway. Dixon has won from Bourdais, and Franchitti crossed the line in third - before receiving a penalty (he's standing on the podium and still doesn't know about it).

Bourdais was so happy. Then his trophy broke on the podium.

So... the standing start was aborted. But they're trying again today!

So happy for Bourdais. I know he's been (understandably) down this year and the podium meant a lot to him.

I couldn't watch the race but apparently Dixon has won again, leading Castroneves and an elated Bourdais (who had earlier received a replacement for yesterday's broken trophy).

Where did Will Power finish? Why, in the wall again of course! :)

It was a great race though. Very fast with few incidents until the end. I prefer to see races where the best drivers win.
