In GP3, Tio Ellinas leads the Drivers' Championship by eleven points after winning race one at Spain, while Aaro Vainio (third in the standings) won the second race. Patrick Niederhauser is second in the standings after finishing second and third.

the GP2 series has been exciting this season, however in Barcelona the standard of driving shown by some wasn't impressive I think something needs to be done about Cecotto in particular

Cecotto banned from the sprint race.

I'm not sure if there's ever been such vitriol towards a GP2 driver ever. Even his fellow rivals consider him a huge danger.

Sprint race in 3 2 1

With Cecotto banned, who's gonna smash the barriers first? Looking at yesterday's crash, I have to say it surely looked like there would have been an incident even if Cecotto hadn't triggered it. Ceccon for example looked like he was going to slam into Bird anyway. But maybe what happened in race 1 will serve as a warning to all?

Amazing race at the Nurburgring in GP2. Plenty of battles and great overtakes, with Marcus Ericson ultimately winning from Calado, as four cars diced for the final podium place into the very last corner! Coletti prevailed but Frijns certainly attracted attention for his defensive driving, which may have been just a little over the top.

Shame it ended with a broken car. You can tell Buxton loves the guy and wants him to do well.

Great drives from Lancaster and Calado. Below par for Bird and Frijns IMO. Also, can anyone explain to me what Rosenzweig is doing in the series? He has no speed, basically no manners (in terms of racing etiquette) and gets involved in a collision almost every race. Seriously, he is like a slower Canamasas.

Frijns out of GP2 through lack of funding. Such a shame, the points about money and GP2 hardly need to be repeated but when one of the best prospects out there can't stay in the series it really grates. Ultimately it's F1 that's going to suffer as the quality of the grid declines.

Just read news about GP2 Qualiy results in Skysports.com and pretty obvious misleading news, because I found a different result in gp2 website.. Which is wrong and which is correct?
Ah yeah, pretty obvious too skysports mistakenly noted Rio Haryanto (MON) from Monaco?? Wtf? He is Indonesian. And yeah, it's the same flag, but it's quite a shameful mistake for a media.
