Re: GP2, GP3, WSbR (F1 Feeder Series Thread) 2013
That's a brilliant line up. I'd pick 6 or 7 drivers in there that should make it to F1.
Re: GP2, GP3, WSbR (F1 Feeder Series Thread) 2013
Official press conference from Macau GP race direction announced Portuguese rider Luis Carrera died at the crash at 16:28pm.
Re: GP2, GP3, WSbR (F1 Feeder Series Thread) 2013
Bit of an update for GP2:
Nasr/Palmer at Carlin
DAMS aiming for a third successive title. They've signed Ericsson and Richelmi. So, er, they won't get that then.

Re: GP2, GP3, WSbR (F1 Feeder Series Thread) 2013
DAMS should have signed Mitch Evans as Ericsson and Richelmi are average at most. Hopefully Lotus GP will sign Daniel Abt. It would be a strong line-up together with Calado.
Re: GP2, GP3, WSbR (F1 Feeder Series Thread) 2013
Romanian media reports that MW Arden already signed Robert Visoiu for the next season. The rumour is not confirmed yet.

Teams and drivers. It begins again this weekend.

James Calado favourite for the title I'd think, seeing as he's the only one of last year's top 6 remaining.
Looking forward to seeing how Abt, Evans, Nasr, Dillman fare. Trident/Hilmer yet to confirm drivers.

I think James started playing GPRO, my favorite browser game. Abt, Nasr, Leimer and Hobbs are the names I will be following as well!

Re: GP2, GP3, WSbR (F1 Feeder Series Thread) 2013
Good move. He wasn't going to win FR3.5 against Da Costa anyway.
Re: GP2, GP3, WSbR (F1 Feeder Series Thread) 2013
It's a shame Bird is unlikely to make it to F1. He really impressed me in GP2 in 2010 against Bianchi and he had a lot of bad luck in 2011. Last year him and Bianchi were absolutely mega in Monaco, they destroyed everyone. 36s over 33 laps. Pretty amazing stuff.
