Oops
Sebastien Loeb crashes out of Rally of Portugal on SS3

World Rally Championship leader Sebastien Loeb's chances of victory in Portugal are already over after the Citroen driver went off the road on the second full-length stage.

Loeb's car stopped seven kilometres into the Santa Clara test, with following crews reporting that he had gone a long way off but was unhurt.

Ott Tanak said: "He was warning us on the stage, but we didn't see the car."

Jari Ketomaa, who was next on the road added: "The car was a very long way off the road."

Loeb had ended stage two third behind the Fords of Petter Solberg and Jari-Matti Latvala, as Citroen's plan of running first on the road appeared to backfire.

Other early incidents included Dani Sordo losing the use of all but one headlight on his Mini on SS2 and then pulling out before SS3, and local hero Armindo Araujo dropping five minutes behind when he went off very early on the evening's first stage.

Okay, that was a crazy first day of the rally.
Loeb out for the rest of the rally. Dani had to retire after SS2 because he didn't have lights (urg! that sounds horrible in Spanish, translated word by word, it means he was stupid  )
It was difficult to follow all what was happening with 3 stages live at the same time.

BTW, can somebody explain me why do we have 2 different radios covering the rally?
I have the World Rally Radio in iRally (in my iPad) and in the PC if I listen to it in iTunes (with the file the guys of the radio sent me last year) with Andrew Coley and I suppose Neil somewhere around. But in wrc.com, there is another radio with Becks and Colin.

Shouldn't the championship fix other problems before having different radios at the same time?

I found it in forocoches:

Elena is a very, very lucky boy. I think he's pretty happy today that he didn't grow up that much.

Julian Porter says "More Loeb news. Apparently he turned left when the road went right after a crest. The pace note was correct he just turned the wrong way!" :zz:

Oh, he's just like me. Nice! Next time somebody tells me "turn right" and afterwards "to the other right, Mar", I will answer "I'm like Loeb" :)

Which radio feed do you guys like better? I think I liked the guys they had on wrc.com the last few rallies but couldn't get access this time (Android phone only).

Hard to believe Loeb made a mistake like that. Should be an interesting rally, though. Restraint from JML?

From Autosport: "The pace note was good, but he didn't follow the indication, just before the top the road was going a little bit to the left and we think he was looking more to the road and he didn't follow the note.":

Portugal is not Loeb's favorite rally. Good thing they are okay even they can't continue :E
Latvala leading is good :) but please please Jari-Matti don't now do any mistakes  or at least big mistakes :<>:

Loeb's mistake with notes is kind of one Kimi sometimes did ''hmm''

Oh no  Jari-Matti is off the road :( (WRC web radio: http://www.wrc.com/fanzone/listen-live/) they say he struggling to get back to road.

SS5 is bad. Neuville, Tanak, Paddon, Breen stopped. Ogier went off but is now back. I hope Latvala can continue :fear:

Petter Solberg says it is unbelievable slippery. He was also out but managed to get back on road.

Bad day for Ford... Hard to believe there are still two and a half days left.
