Talking of co-drivers...
Does anybody else miss Phil Mills?
I used to look forward to his sergeant-major-type barking, it was like a machine gun.
I even use an mp3 of him at Ouninpohja as a ringtone for my phone, you can't fail to hear that!

Do you think he wakes up in the morning nowadays, and his brain's going, "Breakfast one hundred fiftyyyy, line into bacon and eggs over crest eightyyyy, keep middle into coffee unseen, two hundreeed, scrambled eggs on toast half long sixtyyy, over flat crest sausages fortyyy...."

You just read that in his voice, huh?

Again, talking of co-drivers,
I was in Estonia a while ago, and of course had to take the trek to Michael Park's memorial.
It's a bit sad that he doesn't have a memorial in his home country.... Markko Martin is still a legend in Tallinn..

I was at Wales that year, the shock of his death far outweighed the fact that I'd driven 800 miles to see one stage before the rally was cancelled! Saw Mcrae though; totally worth it!!!
