Alonso forced to miss Monaco qualifying
Fernando Alonso will have to start from the pitane for the Monaco Grand Prix after his Ferrari team found it was unable to repair the damage caused by his Saturday morning accident.

The Spaniard lost control of his car at the Massenet corner earlier in the final practice session, swiping the barriers on the outside and badly damaging his F10.

Post-accident inspection by the team revealed that the chassis itself had been damaged in the crash, perhaps by a piece of suspension.

The team is unable to fix the damage before Saturday's crucial qualifying session and, with Alonso requiring a totally new car, it means he will have to start from the pit lane for the race.

With Monaco being notoriously difficult to overtake on, Alonso will have a tough time fighting his way through the field as he seeks the points he needs to maintain his championship challenge.

Turrini also added:
SMS from a Finnish colleague.
'Nando made a skid in a perfect rally driver style, Kimi says. He's almost waiting for him in Citroen.
I tell you, but I think it's a joke.

finishing Monaco qualif, I see Massa will kick out from Ferrari, and Kubisa will in 2011.
and if Webber sticks with RB, where will Kimi go? :confused:

I actually do not care if Kimi goes back to F1 anymore though :roll::
but I wanna know how Kimi feels to watch F1 whose speed he loves from his yacht.
hope adrenaline kicks in :roll::

I don't know about the others but I surely do not feel sorry for Massa. No way. Now he has to feel how it has been for Kimi! I bet he was so pleased that he could beat Kimi several times, he surely didn't feel sorry for Kimi! Why should I? :<>:

I wanna know that too! I know that I surely miss Kimi in F1 but you are right if Webber keeps going on like this then... where could Kimi go?

Anyway, some days ago some people was a bit angry that we (I) bashed Alonso. I don't know but these last 2 pages were nice to read. Are we allowed to say what we want now? Because in the last couple of days I tried to shut my mouth up!

BBC Sport's Sarah Holt in Monaco:
Pit-lane reporter Lee McKenzie's driver radar even spotted 2007 F1 world champion turned world rally driver Kimi Raikkonen walking the track last night in an all-white ensemble.
