Former Grand Prix champion Kimi Raikkonen believes that the forthcoming Portugal Rally will be a much tougher test than the Rally of Turkey: the last event he contested, where he scored a career-best fifth place.
While Turkey – based in Istanbul for the first time – was a new event for everybody, the Portugal route is much more established. Raikkonen expects his inexperience to show on the gravel stages, while his rivals will be able to use their prior knowledge.
“It’s going to be tougher than Turkey, for sure,” said the 2007 Formula One World Champion. “That’s normal when everybody else has been there before but it is completely new for me. Nothing has changed though: I just want to get some more experience and reach the finish. It’s not realistic to expect anything more.”
After missing Rally New Zealand – which was not on his schedule for this year – Raikkonen has been away from competition for over a month, although he recently completed a test session in France to reacquaint himself with the Citroen Junior Team C4 WRC.
“That was useful,” concluded the 30-year-old. “But testing is one thing and competition is another. It’s not like racing: the surfaces are always completely different.”

Both of those news have been taken from wrc.com pages, so there is nothing new compared to those in Portugal rally thread, shame though..MTV 3 doesnt exactly try to get comments from Kimi , as Mikko Hirvonen is at the spotlight when he is watching footballs champion league.(wonder why? )Anelise wrote:http://www.mtv3.fi/urheilu/ralli/uutise ... 05/1129071

So leijonat reached quarterfinal. Today they played against Czech Republic, it was such an exciting game. Kontiola scored 1-0 for Finland after 55 seconds in the first half. They could hold that til the third third, where the Czech could manage to make 1-1. After the extra time, their was the penalty shotout and with that result ->
CZE: Lukas Kaspar, shot, goal
FIN: Jarkko Immonen, shot, goal
CZE: Jan Marek, deke, goal
FIN: Jussi Jokinen, deke, missed the net
CZE: Jakub Klepis, deke, miss
FIN: Petri Kontiola, miss
But all in all, I can say, that the Suomi boys rocked! Were always great to watch their performance at this tournament.
Pekka Rinne, handsome and a classy goalkeeper.
So now Sweden was out too
Look how not watching the games affects me, I'm sorry for Sweden
