I felt kind of sorry for him but at the same time I was embarrassed by the thought of this squeaky freak being out there in the world representing Finland...
Maybe it's better that you can't hear my voice It might be very special, but not same kind than Kimi has. Probably it sounds like some old smoking whiskey man is talking - no I don't smoke and don't drink strong alcohol. I am lucky that the voice sounds different in own ears than the others.

Yes, that's right! The Kimi Fan Club turned into a lost place in the old forum....too many bashers and too less fans....not easy to be a fan of him there.....KIMBO1 wrote:Yes thats right LadyR I did wonder if it was you, thanks for the welcome its good to meet you again its been a little while have to make up for lost timeLadyR wrote:Hey KIMBO1...welcome and I think, we know us from F1-live, right?

Hi Brendakarlibrendakarli wrote:Hi Kimbo,
Glad you could finally join us! After I started going on the forums at the end of 2007 - to find out as much as I could about kimi, I saw his finnish interview just when he got an F1 seat and he was this skinny twig with 2 other guys and when he spoke, I was like, OMG! What a snorefest...no wonder he can drive as fast as he does...the man's heartbeat must be 100 when racing and 20 when he's not behind the wheel of car!!!! Hilarious!!! You could say I go to know the man in the reverse way!
btw, how is it you guys have these icons and I don't?
Yes thanks to you I have arrived and am glad to be back in the Kimi family
I fell for Kimi the first day he drove the Sauber, before that I had been an ardent Mikks fan. I felt there was something special about this new racer that really attracted me both in his driving and his personality (not forgetting his looks) and that feeling has stayed with me ever since. I havent been disappointed in my choice, like a fine wine they say 'he gets better with age' .

Thanks Boudica, that changes thingsBoudica wrote:I have seen the exact same rumour on some rally forums, where some of the people does have inside information. So there could be something more to it.Wolfie wrote: Here's a thing from JamesHunt, true or not, take it as you wish:
My pal Jesse told inside-information that Kimi used his option in 2010 with Ferrari and got this way a huge compensation from Ferrari but the condition was that Kimi wouldn't race in any F1-team during season 2010.
Therefore it was more sensible for Räikkönen not to drive at all since even McLaren couldn't offer him that big salary.
And Kimi saw his chance to drive in rally this year - and his intention has been ever since the beginning to come back to F1 in 2011 to Red Bull; staying in rally has only been a show.
Kimi was talking about not being necessary to tell what is going on at this point or something like that. He sounded so mysterious that it made me think that there is a master-plan we don't know about yet

Kimi and Kaj likes the roads on Turkey Rally. Kaj told that roads are fast and wide. Good thing is also that route is new to all drivers. Main focus is still go to the finish.

Re: Kimi Red Bull Rally Monster
Absolutely!!! I could sense it from the moment he announced the drive with Citroën/Red Bull. I just couldn't understand that he would walk away from F1 like this. Mostly I was thinking about it as a typical fan who doesn't like to accept that decision of his but... that little "something" was always there.... what if, what if... there's a plan already... we don't yet knowWolfie wrote: Kimi was talking about not being necessary to tell what is going on at this point or something like that. Kimi Räikkönen's next WRC-rally is in Turkey.
The rally is the 3rd rally on gravel in Räikkönen's career. Therefore the man hasn't got too much of experience. Fortunately Räikkönen has never feared challenges.
- I guess it's a good thing that I like challenges because there's a big challenge ahead of me again, Räikkönen talked.
- IMO Jordan's rally was the most difficult so far but I have no idea what it's like in Turkey.
- The number one goal is to finish the rally because it's a completely new race. But because I'm a competitive person I always want to drive as good as I can.

Re: Kimi Red Bull Rally Monster
MTV3 has pretty much the same things except:
Kaj Lindström believes that Turkey will suit Kimi better.
- I don't really know what we can expect but according to my information the stages are pretty fast and the roads are wide. I think they suit Kimi well, Lindström thinks.
- My only concern is the risk for rain. It's the same for everybody but rain would make the surface extremely slippery which wouldn't be that nice.
An even rally in Jordan made Räikkönen happy even though his pace suffered a bit.
- In Jordan we found a safe pace which isn't necessarily the most exciting thing in the world but at least we finished the rally and scored points, Räikkönen tells.
