Kimi Räikkönen's case manager Riku Kuvaja confirmed Räikkönen driving this year, Citroen's junior team, at least 10 World Championship rallies. Season begins in Sweden, where Raikkonen has enrolled Championship prologue Ice 1 team in the name.

if I understand it right, Citroen doesn't have more than 3 cars, van Merksteijn will start at a later rally.

Merksteijn supposed to do 10 rallies anyway, so it's not that big a surprise

maybe but when they announced him one of his 10 rallies was sweden so citroen seem to have put a clause in his contract ...

... and from the same article: the sponsors and program is announced later....

... and i think he also says between the lines that he is continuing with the same gang ie PH-sport running the team.

Which probably means that there's still no deal made

Thanks a lot everyone for such a wonderful news.

And yesssssssssss... kimi continues in WRC. This is what i was eagerly waiting for. Kudos to him Flag:## :C: !yahoo:
I dont mind if he is paying for his drive though i am sure that kimi would easily have found some sponsors and garnered 2million which was quoted few days back to secure a seat. Sponsors would be announced later after kimi raikkonen officially announces the plans.

I am all geared up for coming season but the only sad part is that there is no guarantee of kimi driving for all 13 rallies of the season. I hope the program shapes up in to potential all the rallies of the season. But still even if its 10 rallies its gonna be hell more exciting than last season. Kimi is a superb learner and I expect the improvement graph scaling to some good results.

All in all i am too happy and all i can say is that Iceman Cometh Posts awaits for our Hero. Kimi Raikkonen

So... I lost my bet and I am happy to loose. Kimi stays in WRC!

I am adding one pound to the donation that I am doing today.

PR-manager Pekka Koski, Finnish importer of Citroen, was surprised by the news. He hadn't heard anything from France.

- We have no information about this. It could be Kimi's private team, Pekka Koski thought.

I wonder if it's permanent. I guess they had to come up with a team name before the deal is made. It'd be cool
Most likely would mean no RB. Not as title sponsor anyway :(

I had doubts that we'll reach the 400th page before we know anything sure . Now I'm positive that we shall reach it. Maybe even go beyond
