I would come across as crazy but i hope the below mention thing happens...

Kimi to Monster Ford for next season and back in Mclaren from 2012...

I am falling for "M" word all over again

Since we’re speculating: Monster is one of Mercedes’ sponsors :)

Learning how to drive? Sleenster, you’re meanImage

Is there S2000 championship next season? Arg! I know there was something about those cars next year, but I can’t remember now what it is.

S2000s are cheaper to buy right? Well they are also cheaper to crash :p

Don't know if there will be a S2000 championship or S-WRC, I've only been following the big boys

I think it's not a typo, next year all the WRC car will run to super 2000 regulation...

WRC revises 2011 technical rules
International News The FIA has announced major revisions to the technical regulations for the all-new 2011 World Rally Car, with the World Motor Sport Council stating that turbocharged 1600cc engines will be used instead of two-liter naturally aspirated rules that had been agreed in March. The reversal had been expected as manufacturers pointed to the environmentally driven trend for turbocharging smaller engines.

Beyond the engines the new World Rally Cars will run to Super 2000 regulations for the transmission and electronics. They will also run more aerodynamics.

Thanks for the information YiNing

Yeah, the new WRC are very similar to the S2000, but they have, for example, a different motor. Ford's WRC car for next season is called Ford Fiesta RS WRC. That's why I find strange the "Fiesta S2000" thing.

According to Ford, about 90% of the parts in the new Ford Fiesta RS WRC are from the Fiesta S2000

I don't know if the situation were ever as bleak as people imagined. People were just looking at what Red Bull and Citroen were saying about budgets ext. ext. But when you actually think about it, what else could they say if they knew Kimi was leaving them for the competition? The fact is, Red Bull didn't do a good job with Kimi's PR this year, they had a good opportunity with lots of potential and they didn't capitalise on it. By contrast Monster did a much better PR job with Ken Block. The difference in their approach is because of their commitment to the sport. Red Bull are only thinking about F1 whereas Monster wants to concentrate on WRC. The potential for marketing with a team like Kimi and Ken are vast if approached correctly, Ken's got the American market and Kimi the European and Asian market. As a marketing strategy it must practically be to good to resist. If this team happens they will steal all of the limelight in rally circles, it all makes perfect sense for a marketing department, and it must be like a dream team to tempting to resist!

Fully agree!!! :shhh:

Add to that that Ken really admires Kimi and they get on well so well from the 1st minute they met!

But I still don't get the documentary full of RB stuff plus his RB helmet on that enduro race early of December. Was it neccesary to wear that kind of helmet?

I am starting to salivate over the prospects of Kimi and Ken in the same team. And I think Monster is too. Its so weird. They are not competing at the top but they are probably more famous and has more fans than even Loeb. Can you imagine a new Ken Block stunt video featuring Kimi?? Maybe Kimi gets on his cross bike and jumps over Kens car a couple of times or something. Or a gymkhana vid with both of them thrashing the Fiestas around. Or or.. Would make me howl at the moon and hump something nearby. Arrroooooooooo!!
