Waiting for Bouillier's reply to this one :zz:

Nah! Now he’s telling the world he’s negotiating with Sutil and Heidfeld.

Sadly for him, the media doesn’t find it so interesting and he didn’t make it to the headlines.

Seriously Mar

Desperate and embarrassing especially when it has been so obvious that the team needs money for a longer time:

It’s a real pity the situation in which Briatore and his collection of shameless friends left that team.

If you don’t have money, you need a pay driver. But a pay driver won’t normally bring you the results you need to get a good position in the WCC and the money that means, so you keep on needing a pay driver.

I really find disgusting the way Boulier and López had been dealing with the “Kimi issue”, but I cannot avoid feeling sad for that team.

Well, I don’t know where to post this, in the Rally RACC thread (we have been writing there the gossips about Dani Sordo) or here, because it could also be related to Kimi.

It looks (I didn’t hear it, so I can not corroborate it) Dani gave an interview to a Cantabrian radio station yesterday. He’s quoted saying Citroën is offering him a 10 rallies program for next season (in the Junior Team) and that everything will be decided in the next 10 days.

I have also read rumours about Solberg’s future being decided in more or less one week.

Could it be that the decision about Kimi’s fate would also be taken in the next week and a half?

Could it be that the decision made by Kimi will also sort out the fate of Dani and Petter in a week or two?

In that case, if we want to reach the 500 pages we will have to write fast. :zz:

PS. Welcome iffie

There..corrected.. :O

Evening everybody!

 Sammy, you're mean!

Let's wait and see what happens. We only need a bit more of patience.

18 months period more required for a proper analysis for kimi - rally.

Colin;s money is on kimi being around in Rally. He will make rapid strides of improvement and colin feels top 5 in rallies could be seen more than few occasions.

Although I thought that after Webber´s contract renewal RB is no option for Kimi in 2011, I must admit I´ve been thinking about it lately more and more. Berger´s comments on Servus TV were pretty harsh regardless of whether there is any truth in it or not. I´m starting to believe that they are really trying to shake Webber´s confidence and that he could really be ousted from the team at the end of the year.

Should this happen, then I can see Kimi taking his place. Yes, he says that he would love to stay in rally but he won´t be fighting for the championship next year anyway, all he wants right now is to learn as much as possible. So why not return to F1 and fight for titles and gain some rally experience between the F1 races and then, in 3 or 4 years commit himself completely to rally once he has learned enough to challenge the top drivers in WRC. :)

Iffie Welcome and great first post... welcome to the group who wants him in f1...

Wolfie we're +1

Slowly but steadily the group is growing through force-feeding

of course...and iffie is so right... i guess a lot of people have been traumatised by what happened to kimi in ferrari...

but ferrari are a bunch of loosers except Chris and Andrea...

all the rest is grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Wolfie, I´m sure that some people really want to see Kimi´s progress in rally but I´m also sure that many of those people who want Kimi to stay in WRC are just being afraid that F1 would hurt Kimi if he returned but who otherwise are not against an F1 comeback. But people shouldn´t be so overprotective, I guess.

I believe he still needs to set some things straight in F1.

I am not so interested in F1 and I really want that Kimi stays in rally. This is so much more fun to follow and yes, I believe that Kimi could won some single rallies in the future if he has enough patience. That needs a lot of time and in my mind one or two year in F1 is wasted time of his rally career. This man can make history

And welcome to the forum iffie

it's because you think he can make it...but i like to see some fights in racing...not just fight for times...

now comparing between ogier and kimi.

They feel ogier on his debut wasnt as quick as kimi.

Valid comparison. Ogier had limited rallying experience to kimi's No experience.

Give kimi a chance and dont write him off after such a difficult year.

The start of the year they all agreed that kimi had basic ingredients to be a winner. And rest he can learn and it will take time.

The basic ingredients that makes a rally champ is speed, b*** and ability. And they think kimi has all of them.

Give him chance and he will progress well.

Kimi Raikkonen is winner all the way for WRC. In other words WRC is a winner since Kimi is a part of WRC and they cant afford to lose on it.

Stand up to Colin Flag:##

he said kimi will be around in rally...so it means not a full program...so as we mentioned before...he will do some rally with RB and a full season of F1 since webber is absolutely not loved anymore inside the team...
