Perhaps it's not Kimi's decision, hear me out....

RB is paying for his WRC seat. There are rumours of a RB F1 option. Maybe Kimi has decided he wants to stay in WRC but it is RED BULLS option as to if they fund his WRC seat. Maybe THEY are keeping Kimi as an option if Webbo flips out again. It's just funny how RB has F1 issues and then Kimi says "I haven't decided yet, I'll wait some more."

Thoughts?

yes maybe you are right... the possibility is that kimi wants to stay at wrc and prob has already signed a contract with somekind of agreement regarding the F1... RB is the one who holding the ball here... if situation is not getting better at the F1... then RB would put kimi back in F1 again...

Brilliant, Sammy :shhh:

In 2001 Kimi gets to Sauber without a superlicense or any sponsor-money, only because Robertsons convinced Sauber of Kimi being so good that they shouldn't take the one who brings in money.

They took Kimi and signed a long contract with him. During his first season in F1 McLaren contacts Robertsons and they want Kimi the next season. A huge amount of money was paid by McLaren to Sauber so they got Kimi to themselves.

Kimi was paid a lot of money but then when his contract was expiring in McLaren, Dennis tried to lower the salary and then Ferrari grabbed Kimi.

As soon as it was announced that Ferrari sacks Kimi Red Bull contacted him and started to negotiate with him and gave him the best seat possible in WRC.

Once again Kimi went as a rookie to a new sport that is called the pinnacle of motorsport. WRC and F1 are the royal classes of motorsport.

Not bad :zz:

And it's not only about money when it comes to Robertsons. Kimi has called Robertson his English papa, they really care about Kimi, he isn't just something they use to get money to themselves.

Go Robertsons :shhh:

I'd say you´re spot on with your analysis.

The media reported that RBR had made a contract with Webber after Turkey just to turn away the attention of what happend that weekend. I always thought that Kimi had notified RBR during the Monaco weekend that he wants to stay in WRC and that was what made the team start negotiatons with Webber. Perhaps they decided to speed things up because of Turkey but only because of Kimis decision.

However I agree with you that if RBR wants Kimi at any price he might consider it. If I was him and had the possibility to drive a full season of F1 and also drive the WRC races that didn't occur at the same weekends as F1 I would agree to join RBR. This would mean that he could do F1 for now without loosing the momentum he has already gained in the WRC.

I again heard that Webbo made the contract before Turkey?

Anyway, Flavio has been in Maranello, I'm sorry that I'm so tired, can't figure out exactly what Turrini says (Momo, could you have time to fill out the blanks?)
What was Briatore doing in Maranello
Published by Leo Turrini Wed, 21/07/2010 - 19:14

Oh no, I say. Can't a poor man take at least a few days off after the South African adventure. This morning I received at least ten phone calls from friends who work at Ferrari. All asking: Well, but what do you think of the fact Rosea told, that Flavione Briatore showed up in Maranello?

Damn, what should I think?

1) Maybe Briatore wanted to eat noodles at Mamma Rosella's restaurant in Montana.

2) Everybody knows that Naomi and Alonso's manager are finished. Maybe Alonso will drive for the Force India?
4) Discuss with Briatore about the troubles that Todt has with Ferrari?!? It's really hot in Italy, perhaps too hot.

5) Possibly a role of Flavio running the Horse. I'm not kidding and I'm no Einstein. But think about it. Alonso has a five-year contract, at a minimum. Alonso is the same as Banco Santander. If things continue to go wrong, who do you think El Banco suggests to contact? Not me, that's for sure.

6) Furthermore, in 2011 Montezemelo has been President for twenty years. That's a long time. He knows the right manouvers to make things happen.

7) Ah, and I also informed you about Webber's certain maneuvers ...

That would be the best scenario!!! :shhh:

Kimi will surprise us with his decision, as he always does. F1 is not so interesting anymore, and I was a fiercely F1 fan (since 1990). As long as he is happy with what he does, it's OK.

1- What that means is that if Ferrari plans to use Briatore as a mediator between them and the FIA of the penguin, we have really reached the end.

2- I think it means that perhaps Andrea Agnelli may go to Ferrari in the future.
Then he talks about people I do not know.

Edit:
Turrini is very difficult to translate because he writes humorously and plays with words using double meanings.
