Iceman Cometh !!- salvages a point in Rally de Portugal

Post by luieluv » 30 May 2010, 13:45

Rally Portugal

Iceman Cometh !!- salvages a point in Rally de Portugal

So here we are at the end of one of the most difficult rally. And Kimi has done not all that bad and has brought home one point for us to cherish the fact that he did finished the rally which was full of blind crests and difficult roads.

Kimi is on a learning curve and though we may fee that his pace was hampered here but the fact is the stages were longer and more difficult than anywhere else.

The rally where we again saw more experienced drivers make mistakes and many a times there were drivers who could not pace their runs. This rally it was very important for kimi to show his strength in the technical area as Kaitsu had suggested and i feel Kimi has showed that by completing this rally.

Kimi did make couple of mistakes and that did cost him two places or else the result would have looked like a more of a stupendous one. But its part of a rallying .

And considering that this rally was entirely new to Kimi + one of the most difficult rally + technically most demanding + Pacenotes and grips, i Feel Iceman has made us proud.

And hell yeah i am eagerly waiting for coming rallies. We have 4 tarmac rallies left starting Rally Bulgaria and we only have more positive results waiting in the wings, coz in Kimi and Kaj we trust and I am sure they would deliver.

And if anything we can go by is the last stage where Kimi was at his Flying Best.

So For now Lets enjoy the moment of conquering difficult rally de portugal and Kimi and Kaj has made us feel good by salvaging a single point.

And yes A huge appreceation to both Kimi and Kaitsu.

Finally in the same fashion as the way i had started the rally weekend, i would like to end by saying

Iceman Cometh Flag:## :shhh:
So its gonna be a mix of Ravishing Black and White for Kimi Raikkonen this season

Fantastic post and I like this part the best! :D

I think it was even harder than Rally Jordan. Also I think hadn't there been the tyre problem at the end Kimi would have been 8th. Great result for a rally rookie, isn't it?

Much more to come from Kimi, for sure!

Congrats to Kimi&Kaj!!!!!! !yahoo: :C: :hatoff: :1st:

Congrats Kimi and Kaj ... solid drive!

As I already said I thought that they already improved their performance a lil bit more but I think that he was cautious and wanted to finish another rally...so well done :)
