DTM

I thought that it would be nice to have a DTM topic here. Does anyone watch it? I really like it and I´m always in Hockenheim to see it!

Pedro de la Rosa is one of the guests at this weekend's DTM race and will drive a McLaren F1 car for about 10 laps.

What a race. Great to watch. But also controversy as far as I'm concerned. Christian Abt got away again with causing a crash that got three people out. I don't believe that.
Then Tom Kristensen did get away with pushing Schneider, where Alesi and Ekstrom didn't and later on HH got away with some touching too.
And what about Alesi brake testing Mika? I don't understand the ruling of the stewards in this race, but what a race it was! What a great result for Martin, his maiden DTM win. Loved it.

Edited: Alesi did get punished for Mika brake test

I love the DTM.
I always go to the DTM race at Zandvoort.
I already have been there since I believe 2002. I also have been to the DTM in Spa in 2005, that was really nice.
I'm a huge Hakkinen fan so I support him.
I also like Bruno Spengler and alexandros Margeritis.
Well as a Mercedes lover I support most Mercedes drivers. hihi no not all of them. Well if my favourite drivers don't win I like it when it's another Mercedes driver.

I'm thinking of going to a DTM race in Germany next year.
I was thinking about Hockenheim but today I heard that a friend of mine is going to the Nurburgring race, so I will think about that one.
I just wanna go to Germany so I can try out my new road car on the German highway, so why not do that together with a DTM race, ;)

This season is going to be very exciting, I think.

Ralf Schumacher will join the series and so it won't be so sad that Hakkinen left.

Christijan Albers may drive in DTM next year again. Ironically for the private TME team, managed by his former F1 team boss Colin Kolles.

I learned that Alex Margaritis wont race this year with Mercedes.
Pity, he was the only Greek driver in a high racing series. :(

DTM is a realy exciting racing series. I watch every race in television and I went to Norisring for the live event. Norisring is the same for the DTM as Monaco for the F1, it is simply incredible.

Like andh said, DTM is very exciting series. But it's a shame that Mika Häkkinen is no longer part of it.

Yup I like the DTM too, sometimes I think it's even more interesting than F1.
I wish Ekström would drive for Mercedes... would be best driver in best team :shhh:

DTM is one of the most exciting racing championship in the world, but it could be much better when there would be some more car manufactures involved in this series. I miss BMW and opel a lot. I heard that alfa is going to join the dtm in 2009 :cheezy:

The last race ( in nurburgring ) was so far the best one. Audi made a big mistake by choosing the wrong tires, it was raining and Bernd Schneider did a great job
