MotoGp 2008
MotoGp 2008
Just 1 week before the F1 season starts, the MotoGp season kicks off with the Qatar GP. This will be held under artificial lights, anticipating the night F1 Singapore GP.
Jorge Lorenzo took Pole yesterday, with this year's most talked about driver, James Toseland, getting 2nd spot.
All augurs well for an interesting 2008 season.
Anyone will be following the Motogp?

Re: MotoGp 2008
I'm looking forward to the race this evening because qualifying was very interesting. Two rookies on the first row and the whole first row in Yamaha hand. The only Yamaha driver not in the first row of the grid is Valentino Rossi, which is very interesting.
Re: MotoGp 2008
Will be following motoGP for sure!
Tonights race will be exciting, the Bridgestone tyre didn't work very well in yesterday's qualy, but will surely work better in the race. My bet is Stoner (but I hope Lorenzo can do it! )

Re: MotoGp 2008
that was a direct hit, suntrek.
A great race today with many action and although casey won with a good margin, there were quite a number of race leaders.

Re: MotoGp 2008
Yep, congrats to Stoner, he was unbeatable when he found the pace.
Great race also from Lorenzo and injured Pedrosa (what a start! ) and the Dovizioso/Rossi fight in the last laps was mighty exciting!

Re: MotoGp 2008
I hope not, it would be a boring season. And if Lorenzo is able to keep up with him (at least for a while) already, I think things can only get better for him. And then when Pedrosa is fully healed and Honda get the 2008 bike sorted out he may want to have his say too...phil1993 wrote:everyone but stoner is screwed. he will obliterate everyone

Re: MotoGp 2008
Moto GP is often as good as F1,especially in the last few seasons.I think Rossi will win this year and beat Stoner head to head, and surprise us all
Re: MotoGp 2008
Not impossible, but then he has to up his game considerably.

Re: MotoGp 2008
dont know whats up with stoner today? he looked very unhappy with his qualifying session
Re: MotoGp 2008
Good win from Pedrosa today! He dominated from start to finish, made the race a bit boring but I shan't complain!
Not sure what happened to Stoner, but he wasn't a happy man afterwards.
Had expected a bit more from Lorenzo, but that may be unfair - he's still a rookie after all.
Very good race also from Vale (even if he was asleep one lap before the finish line :@:2 )

1. Daniel Pedrosa Honda (M) 45:35.121
