2009 Fuji Television Japanese Grand Prix
Re: 2009 Fuji Television Japanese Grand Prix
The race sent me to sleep it was so bad, 30 laps in and I gave up on a good race. I missed Alguersuari's accident but otherwise it was a worth a good sleep.

You can overtake here, we've had several examples. But if the drivers don't want to get any closer than one second to their rival, there's no chance they can ever get through. They're all waiting for the pitstops to happen as soon as we've passed Lap 2, I really hope this changes next season with the ban of refueling - they won't be able to wait for the pit stops next season, that's for sure.

I think Vettel has a chance to be WDC for 2 reason :
- In brazil, Red Bull will be the best car and other best cars will be McLaren, BMW, Ferrari, Williams ,Toyota and Force India.
it may be in top 8 : 1/ vettel and after Webber, Hamilton, Trulli, Heidfeld, Kubica, Raikkonen, Rosberg, and Sutil.
So Brawn gp will maybe dont score points.
- Red Bull have many money to develop the car to be good at Abu diabi.

Now Mark Webber has to support his teammate with full heart & brain .... Sadly two strong cars are wasted by Heikki & Fisi but in fisi case it is somewhat understandable ..both Massa & Kimi almost took half season to get used to the car.

Brawn is falling back to the midpack team Honda used to be, Vettel has the momentum to take the title ( RBR have new updates for their car for the last two races & Webber can back him up).

This end season makes me understand Ross Brawn team orders at the beginning of the season

At least neither used the term "racing incident". Gosh I hate that trendy, all-purpose cop-out phrase. It's like "hey, these things just happen, that collision was nobody's fault. Especially not mine!"
Vettel's sure got the momentum to win the title, but my guess is he's going to be short of the few points he was robbed of at Singapore.

Agree it was clearly Nakajima's defending style , i wouldn't even blame Liuzzi if the crash happend ..François wrote:Liuzzi's move was fine, it's Nakajima who pulled something dangerous there. There's a clear line between defending your position and blatantly moving into the path of the person behind, and doing the latter at full speed on the main straight is *a little* dangerous.alex1369 wrote:well it was a lets say boring race, not much happening, sutil kova crash sam like mas vs ham in fuji 08, but the overtaking of liuzzi on nakajima was breathtaking, i could have been a very vary nasty and horrible crash, i dont understand why some drivers like liuzzi make the decisions in the last moment like this one, when i race online on ps3 i make my decisions much earlier so i wont crash, but liuzzi front wing fell a part a bit... really could been a nasty crash, and alguesuauri spiced the race a bit, but no one did overtake in final 4 laps.... boring race.... WE NEED RAIN DESPERATLY IN BRAZIL OR ABHU DHABI to make a interesting race
Not Renault-Piquet Styleiceman1 wrote:Brawn is falling back to the midpack team Honda used to be, Vettel has the momentum to take the title ( RBR have new updates for their car for the last two races & Webber can back him up).
PS : Webber's last stop was a clear new front wing testing .. he said that they did testing on his car for new parts so i guess if Brawn will keep same low pace they won't reach points in the upcoming gps
Ye Jenson is hunting points he needs to get more and more to keep Vettel out of the fight , he blamed Nico about gaining advantage through SC so he was hoping for more points , he was lucky in that Heiki-Sutil crash already ... sigh

For those who haven't seen it. Hamilton's car breaks on the parade lap and alonso gives him a lift.
