Re: 2009 Hungarian Grand Prix
I think the punishment for Renault is way to hard. A full race ban ...come on.
I mean they didn´t do it on purpose.
Sorry to warm it up again, but no race ban for liegate but a race ban for a lost wheel that´s a joke.
Liegate was done on purpose to get an illegal advantage, the loose wheel was just a mistake during a pitstop.
Poor Renault, they don´t deserve that. I hope they don´t pull out now.

Re: 2009 Hungarian Grand Prix
Great race. Entertaining.
Very good job by Hamilton and Raikkonen, Red Bull's and Brawn's in the shadow.
Renault don't deserve a race ban penalty.. that's just nonsense.
FIA just want to look like they're doing something immediately about safety.
It's a mistake, they should have informed Alonso it wasn't a puncture straight away, but at the end of the day, it already happened in F1.
They can give to both driver a 5 or 10 place penalty on Valencia's GP grid, but I think that is the most they can do. A race ban is way too much.
But still, sadly, the most concerning thing is Massa's health.
The doctors have confirmed that Massa's life is still in danger, and that's not what we wanted to hear.
It's really sad. Nothing like this happened since 1994 and if you are really close to the sport and to Ferrari in particular (as me, being Italian), you just feel like a hole in your stomach.
Come on, Felipe.. SIAMO TUTTI CON TE (we're all with you)

Renault's Penalty is too much , another time Stewards give a wrong penalty !
first Vettel's accident with Kubica @ aussie gp , then Webber's last race for almost touching Rubens's car and now Renault suspended ... kimi should have been given a penalty (+5-10 places back) no more to say abt this day ...

Re: 2009 Hungarian Grand Prix
Raikkonen a penalty?
What for?
For finding space between Hamilton and Vettel?
Or for avoiding Hamilton at the exit of turn 1 and slightly touch Vettel?
Oh come on, that's racing guys.
If you don't want to see these things start watching snooker instead.

Always the same thing :
- When nothing is making for security, people are angry
- When always is making for security, people are angry
And, I think this penality is normal for Renault : Just imagine if someone had overtake Alonso when the tyre wasn't on car

On a sidenote, lol at JPM's twitter: A day like this a need a nice and big burger for the drive home!!!!!!!! hahahahhahahha Did somebody so the bulls** on the renault f1 suspension. Not racing next event for leaving a loose wheel and I'm complaining hahahhahahha
Also, I don't know if I can ever recall a season where one team (McLaren) were doing so badly 2 races ago yet have now won...

Re: 2009 Hungarian Grand Prix
great race not boring, two things:
1. about the penalty for renault i think s its very hard, but after the accident of massa and the death on gp2 the fia wants to make precedent. from now on if someone has a problem with a wheel must be stop in the act no try to come back to pits.
2. i forgot second point o whatever

Ferrari Rules!!!!!!
Re: 2009 Hungarian Grand Prix
They want the punishment to be extremely harsh so that nobody will dare do it again

I must say I was surprised that Webber and Raikkonen pitted before Hamilton

Brundle: 'Hamilton surprised me. Last year if he was in the same situation at T2 where Webber retook him he may have shoved one up the inside and lost a wheel, but now he has matured and he waited - thats the only thing that was missing last year - maturity'
