Brawn shows really good race pace and consistency.

Can't wait to see where will red bull be when ddd's get standart.

Terrible race for BMW.

Many wondered what would Lewis do in a bad car..he isn't in the worst of cars, but it's long way from the best ones (look at kova..) and he's pushing strong performances for points. Nice race.

Nice pace for kimi, no mech problems this time, another pit issue, or else he could have been 5th i suppose.

kova, piquet, nakajima should move.

1. a change in geometry of the front suspension; the upper wishbones will be now placed much lower

2. a new floor

3. a DD diffuser. It will not be similar to the ones of toyota and williams. It's more like a triple deck diffuser in the shape of DD diffuser

4. changes to the rear suspension

5. a new KERS cooling solution

6. change in the seating position of the driver

..........the rumours are that the new updates will give the car an extra 8-tenths per lap. They found 30% more downforce in the wind tunnel and in the simulators.
looking good!!
Yea that is good! But ofcourse the other teams are getting upgrades too. But 8/10 sec. is a lot. 30% more downforce?
Ferrari has a high chance of scoring in Spain! Nice! :)

Virgin was there again, they must have made a big sponsor deal by now?
I don't think they are giving hell lot of money .... probably $5m to max $10m ...which is what sutil brings in for Force India from medions.

If see at first turn Massa was over cautious and brake to early ... that gave room for ruben ..eventually crunch in Massa ...then everything was automatic

Heikki Kovalainen: "My start was a disaster. Obviously, to begin the race on the prime tyre was the wrong choice."

I remember the voice of Hamilton's engineer on the radio telling him "The option tyre is 1 second faster than the prime tyre so let's put the softer Bridgestone in the pist stop. Confirm?"

Err... Did McLaren utilize Heikki's car for testing how prime tyre works and then use that information on Hamilton's car?

that does not surprise me..
as heikki was down the position... red bull didi the same with webber. they put him into hard tyres in his stop to find out how they work for vettel. Horner said that in his interview with the bbc.

That's pretty much Heikki's role in McLaren.

Every team, when its second driver fits the role of "in-race test driver" would utilize that driver for the good of the other driver. Kovy royally screwed his own race up anyway. Of course, he is very much the second driver at McLaren, both in ability and priority, but he brings that upon himself.
No, I'm not calmer. Just more jaded.
