Yeah, but this season really is seeing which driver is better than his team mate.

That's pretty much Heikki's role in McLaren.
They just didn't make the right strategy, and Hamilton is way faster the Heikki!
plz :zz:

Mclaren have killed racing soul in heikki :p
^^ yawn,
oh please how many time is his career has kovi outshone hamilton? 1 maybe 2 times he doesnt have the raw talent and yeah blaming mclaren for kovi magnetism into the turn 1 accidents must be because the team use him as the crash test dummy, after all they dont want to gain any points from him. kovi problem is he is to soft you tell me how many times you seen him defend his position succesfully or even overtake another car? kovi for pole next race.

Oh come on, how can you be that sure for a driver who has never been given a chance to fight? He outqualified Hamilton in Australia and outclassed him in China, where Hamilton used revised version of MP4-24 whereas Heikki did not. What he might have done had he finished the first two race is unknown. And now are you telling me that Heikki deserved to be "laboratory" for Hamilton just because he couldn't manage to get into Q3?

^^ oh yeah you mean the australian race when kovi was GIVEN the chance to fight and then crashed into turn 1 and in china when hamilton was pushing to the limit and spun 3-4 times he finished 6 secs behind kovi, < after spinning 3-4 times. didnt kovi get pole silverstone 08 what better opertunity does a driver need, didnt hamilton get passed him and we never saw kovi again even though kovi was faster?
ok maybe i was wrong i am convinced that kovi is the better driver :p   :lol

Has Hamilton already used a new engine? Or was this his 4th GP with the same engine?

The water-giving stuff broke at the start of the race, Alonso couldn't get out of the car at the end of the race... But he is ok now ;) and that can be an answer on why he wasn't in best shape during the race...

JA: "McLaren will be hugely encouraged by their performance here. From being over 2 seconds off the pace of Brawn when I first saw this car on the same track at the Barcelona test, they have closed the gap to a few tenths and must fancy their chances of competing for the world championship. If I were a betting man I’d slide down the bookies and put a few quid on Hamilton to win the title."

Yeah right :p

I can be sure that by naively killing his own front wing, Heikki bought his guineau pig status upon himself. I find it suspect when McLaren bring Heikki in a lap or two early to make way for Lewis, but not when they test stuff on heikki's car when Heikki already screwed his own race up.
No, I'm not calmer. Just more jaded.
