Also Trulli was on dry tyres, and both Toyotas had nearly the same lap time (1:44), so Glock surely didn't slow down for Hamilton. Also, if Hamilton hadn't passed Glock on the final corner, he would've overtaken him on the straight as the acceleration would've been far worse with dry tyres.

Yeah, ummm... that's the British point of view :D
The general public point of view is that Hill tried that kind of move one time too many :D

It was DRY in the last corner. Glock did not go wide. Glock did not slide. Glock did slow down. There was no spray. No wet asphalt. if anything Glock had the traction advantage.

Worthy champion ? Hamilton. sure. Helped ? Yes. gifted the championship. For sure. All I have left to say. Go watch the last few seconds of the race again.

Don't clutch at straws. You saw him twitch on the straight like crazy. It was wet as hell.
No, I'm not calmer. Just more jaded.

Right on Mate and I also want to add on He talk the talk and walk the walk.....
also most of these guys have been racing for so long and have not won nothing..lewis comes in
and Wins with in two season...can't blame it on the car he give Alonzo a run for his Money last year..
and Kovi have not done much this year and they are both in the same car

nobody would be going on if massa won it. people have got a grudge against hamilton for 1 of these 3 reasons.
1) hes black
2) alonso at macca last year
3)hes not in a ferrari

am I about right there?

1) Why do people go that route? F1 fans see only one colour, and that's the color of the car's livery. I don't care if he's pink, yellow or green, i'd still hate his guts.
You're just using it as an excuse. because i don't know a SINGLE ONE person who said anything against his color.

2) Well that's the Alonso fans hating hamilton

3) And then Ferrari fans hating hamilton

So that's pretty much 70% of the Formula 1 fan base. Not looking pretty good :D
Am I about right there?

If you believe the Glock slowed down theory you'll believe anything. You'll believe in Scientology or that Marilyn Monroe is still alive or something ridiculous like that.

No, the only driver who deserved it was Kubica, and he was stuck with a shocking car for the latter half of the season.

Sanredrose wrote:1. What about the racial abuse in Spain during pre-season testing ?
2. That's because people who have that opinion, believe that Alonso had right of the way since he was 2 time WDC.
3. Everyone except Mclaren fans hating him !

I only read that in the BRITISH media. No one else reported it.
And well... i think the Spaniards had other reasons to dislike him don't you think??
And Spain isn't "everyone", so don't go arround yelling you're all racist bastards, OK?

And yes, pretty much everyone except Mclaren fans hate him. Its a good think he said hell spend his entire career in Macca :D :D

If only Ferrari were smart enough to snatch Vettel, i'd be a happy man right now.
