2008 Brazilian Grand Prix - Title Decider
Re: 2008 Brazilian Grand Prix - Title Decider
Thanks. I went to Belgium and managed to not only visit Spa, but walk trackside for free! F3 were testing and I walked past La Source, then watced at Les Combes and got inside the track (by car) and stood on the inside of Stavelot and was literally 2 metres from the cars. Then we drove the old track and visited Spa (the town) and saw the other towns such as Francorchamps and Stavelot. Theres a shop in Francorchamps which is very expensive: £55 for a model car (small version) of MP4/23. It was very cold all week, 5 degrees at maximum.

are the colourful runoffs to promote environmental change or something? Why do they time the SC and MC? Do they have to be a certain speed?iceman1 wrote:Run-off area this year

Ron Dennis:
"In fact, we suspect that some teams may have dropped their fuel loads in an effort to nullify that problem, but we didn't. Instead we adhered to a disciplined programme, all the while assessing our raceable options."
Norbert Haug:
"This were certainly not one of the better 2008 Friday’s rankings for Vodafone McLaren Mercedes."
"We had a conservative approach to the afternoon session to simulate extremes that can take place during the race on Sunday."

Really? In the last wet race, Italy, he finished ahead of Hamilton.phil1993 wrote:That means Massa = screwedjoostlamers wrote: Weather forecast D-Day: Rain showers in the morning will evolve nto a more steady rain in the afternoon (80%)
Anyway, Ferrari apparently found a solution to their poor wet weather performance during that Fiorano test out:

If it rains, I think, both, Hamilton AND Massa will make mistakes... :tired:stewie325 wrote:Really? If it rains, Massa cannot win unless he is on pole (in Italy he started sixth and could only finish sixth), and Hamilton can easily climb up the order. So Massa must hope for a dry race.

I don't think it will be a wet race! Each time since Italy they said more than 50% of chance to have a wet race, it's completly dry! But if it's wet, I think Barrichello can win the race! ( I'm very optimistic...... ^^ ) Remember in 2003, Minardi could win his maiden victory with Verstappen but he spun off ( because of driveshaft problem I believe )!! So I'm not so optimistic!

Yeah, a Barrichello- Piquet - Massa 1-2-3 for the Brazilians
